Because it is hurting peoples feelings that they might actually have to play in alternate game modes to max out on the easiest free junk giveaway imaginable.

OMG!!! I really don't even have to try to win to qualify for anything, but how unfair that I can't get ALL 100 just playing the one mode! PGI you spiteful meanie heads!

Well it doesn't really bother me, but it does seem strange to be encouraging people to play other game modes than the one that was just released that people have been waiting for for years.

and if it had been CW only you would have had walls of texts saying how its discriminatory to pugs, or how this is only for 12 mans and blah blah blah PGI is literally the worst thing since unsliced bread.

i think they've struck a fine balance! they could have had it open to any event, but this makes people who might only play 'regular' queue more likely to play CW, and it makes people who might only play assault/skirmish more likely to play conquest f.ex

I'm currently a pug playing in CW. Like I said I don't really care I just think it is odd doing something that could pull focus away from a brand new feature that people are wanting to spend time on instead of being enticed into other things by the event.

There is damn near nothing they could do to get me to play skirmish. It just won't happen.

No it is just that it would be more convent to be able to play how you want to. Right now my unit is pretty focused on CW so 95% of my drops are in CW. However over the next week obviously I am going to be spending alot of time PUGing to get the gifts which means I can't contribute to my unit the way I would like or rather I could but then I would have to sacrifice 75% of my potential gifts.

Honestly it isn't a complaint but rather a suggestion on how they can make the events more enjoyable for everyone.

so play how you want to. You still get 25 bag opportunities.

You don't HAVE to do anything.

Not to mud sling at anyone but given you're liking your own posts, I think you're being overly qualified for being narcissistic yourself.

I dunno what's gotten into Bishop lately aside from he's extremely happy there's finally a team oriented mode for team play, and I can sympathize with that. Other than that, I think his cornflakes have gotten soggy and he's been having a bad day. Maybe it's because he's forced fighting for the DCMS and he's really a Lyran. That would make ANYBODY grumpy.
