So while preparing for drop team populates with 11 (not including myself) "Pilot Recieving Orders" slots but never launches into the match? Have now waited on this screen for over 20 minutes on two different planets.

me too.
I have tried numerous times and never got past this. I am not going to wait 20 minutes.
10 minutes is WAAAAYYY to long !

I have been told that it's quicker if you are dropping with team mates...
Well that's just great, so now it's a game of self coordination????
no good.
im in a clan/team but mostly not on when I am. or hard to get them together.
either way it's not acceptable.

by the way I am burning through my paid for and accumulated premium points day by day trying to make this work.
ALSO, Iwould LOVE to win some cool rewards...but you know wht, I'd lik to PLAY!!!

I am still having this issue... This is a screenshot of a few minutes ago. Basically, a full team will form, sit there for 5-10 mins until people get tired of waiting and leave. Happens over and over, actually gives me something to do while waiting, watching people come and go. The fact that we can't converse with the others that are waiting to launch into the battle makes it even worse because you know they are there, kinda...

Yup, same. The big problem is that nobody seems to want to move. There are heaps of planets with attackers, but no defenders. I watched an unopposed drop happen before because only myself and 2 other people sat in queue for 10 minutes. The enemy had 14 people queued on the planet. Nobody showed up to defend so the enemy got a free drop on that planet

I don't get it - why sit in all the 60+ queues when everyone should be dividing by 12 across multiple planets. This is why we really, really need the faction chat or be able to talk to other people in queue.

I still haven't had a match in over an hour of queues now.

This was a 60+ que for both attackers/defenders, but it doesn't matter what planet I drop on the results are the same.

Was working great last night right after the patch and this morning first thing, started happening around 5hrs ago.

*P.S.*

The point is, there have been alot of full groups that sit for quite some time and we don't even drop into uncontested matches.

well after the patch I finally got to actually play the game on CW.
3 or 4 unenjoyable games losing trying to attack later, suddenly I was attacking. not sure why, as it was the same planet. I guess it changed sides...not sure.

the only way to et into a game was to queue in the 60+ games.
When I tried in other places (previously) without the 60+ I never got in.

no idea how you can drop unopposed. I thought there always had to be a balanced team, hence the matchmaker.

Yeah, I'm currently sitting at all slots filled with "Pilot receiving orders" for 20 minutes. I have no idea what this means now.

Pilot orders went out via interstellar regular mail. Estimated delivery time: 3 days :)

It's waiting for the enemy team to finish building, but folks keep dropping in and out, if I had to guess. Being able to see who's in the lobby is nice, but the matchmaker is having fits as people drop into and out of the cues.

What did you expect? ComStar fees are way too steep.

If we have a 12 man team sitting here waiting for a attack we shouldnt have any hits on our planet. We should get an auto win after 30 minutes.

I'm sure it's not that nobody wants to move. The game still makes it difficult to know where the action is and difficult to bring disparate groups of players together. It's still needs work to streamline the whole process.

Edit: The player count on the planet finder information is welcome.
