Yeah....that counter offensive seemed to have ran out of gas as the FRR capitol is now squarely in Clan territory and more plants are being picked off daily.

Umm what galaxy are you playing in? Clan wolf hasn't taken an FRR planet in four days now and it has been two days since CGB last took a planet. You sound like a defeatist.
Not to mention the CGB held world of hermagor was falling by a good margin to FRR forces until a large force of clan allied Steiner units launched a massive ghost drop campaign against orsestes in our south in the 90 minutes before cease fire, they sucked enough forces away to save their clan ghost bear ally from losing a world and with a 6 ghost drop win advantage took orestes from the FRR our only loss in the last two days.

Conclusion, Defense of a planet is far far inferior of a winning strategy when compared to attacking an enemy held word.
The best Defense is a good offense is even more of a maxim in MWO CW.

If we focused solely on Hermagore, we would have gained a planet from CGB, defended one from CGB and lost one. Instead we netted -1 planets.
I do believe it was a smart move by MS & CI to distract us from CGB attacks, so that they do not lose territory for when their teams return to CGB. If we see we are getting zerg attacked by coordinated 12s, we are wasting efforts on fighting against that. Let them die of boredom waiting 10 minutes and then playing with turrets. All they care about is putting their tag on planets as opposed to the FRR looking for a real fight.
The lesson here is to not allow us to be sidetracked where we already have the momentum.
If anyone is in doubt of where to attack/defend... focus on CGB borders first.

The EU teams and some N.A. teams have been running a highly successful press against Clan Wolf (Planting) and Clan Ghost Bear (Hermagor) territory today. It is up to the rest of the FRR units and solo players to maintain pressure on these 2 attacks.
At this time, Hermagor is 100% ours, so we can now focus on Planting, which is at 66% in our favour. If you see Hermagore fall to 80%, please re-focus efforts on attacking this planet as our primary focus and then put in your attacks on Planting when Hermagore looks safely ours.
The organized N.A. units of the FRR will be pushing 12-mans where needed between these 2 planets.
Fight well!

Agreed. But last time I checked.
Hermagor 90%
Planting 60%
Hermagor 90%
Planting 60%
