Can we talk about the Gauss Rifle on legs, the legendary Hollander? While I know we're not quite at THAT point in the timeline this would be the one IS light mech I would really like to get my hands on. Can you imagine an entire light lance of Hollanders all taking aim at the same target? Now THAT is what I wanna see.

I'm not going to lie, I kind of want the Hollander II instead. I think it is a 45 tonner instead of a 35 ton mech. Having only 35 tons to work with when mounting a Gauss is harsh.

Still though, any Hollander I'd better than no Hollander

Curious: Have you tried a Gauss-starter yet, using the FS9-H or Ember? It's supposed to be a thing.

Also, is that Holander in the line art turned sideways to fire?

If you were going for a poor-mans Hollander, I'd recommend the Raven 4X. It has a nice high mount ballistic hard point and has the 35 tons to work with. The only way it could be better is if the ballistic was in the torso (or if it was a humanoid design with a high mount lol).

But, that's kinda the point of using the Firestarter as the knock-off, isn't it? I mean, it's got torso mounts available. Hollander is humanoid and torso-mounted, right? What am I missing?

Quirks (or Raven arms) may make another 35-tonner better with it, but for best approximation of the chassi, I don't get why anyone would use something other than the Firestarter to do that.
