I wish they would do a fan contest for a new mech concept that would be put in game.

There are at least 2 IS mechs yet. But IF the devs are going to stop the IS mechs in 16 (4 for each class), the clan mechs are really close (3050 is almost at hand!). And Vulture (Mad Dog) and his brothers Timberwolf, Warhawk, Summoner, etc. will be knocking at our doors soon.

It's true that they are fine duplicating tonnage but that doesn't discount the possibility of the new mechs being tonnage gap fillers.

Tbh without the unseen the medium class near enough tops out at 50 tons this year. 40 and 45 tonners really cant cut the mustard as the general purpose mediums though would like a vindicator to be added,

enforcers too similar to centurion to be a soon add but would be nice imho.

id like a heavy next as i cant really see a light other than a panther that would add any thing new to the mix and i can see the panther being a hard mech to pilot well in mwo.

I am quite sure it will be another assault mech.

I think it could be the Charger because there was a ICN News about the CGR-3K model (which I think is pretty cool)

On the other hand I think a 90-95 tons mech is still missing. So it could be the Cyclops which would also be great.

I've never followed Battletech much, just liked the MechWarrior games but it seems all the mechs I remember were clan.

I wouldn't mind an assault mech that is not humanoid build the way the Atlas is, if there is anything like that available. Maybe a big ol' reverse joint.
