I couldn't post until now.. well the victor looks pretty sleek, it's much more better looking than the MW4 iteration. Sadly it could have been a good jumpsniper that.. won't jumpsnipe. The engines and the slots will totally overshadow the awesome and it looks like it will be able to sport XL engines much better than any AWS, I'm looking forward to it, even more than the Orion!

I thought to get a Banshee or a Devastator but heh, nevermind, it looks good  Something tells me we'll have 4 more IS mechs incoming, so we'll have one last IS assault to place bets on, or we'll be waiting for newer mechs for a long time before seeing anything that resembles an omnimech..

Without the "Martian-head cockpit", it just looks like an Awesome with DBZ-style shoulderpads and a Warhammer's searchlight...

Here is my guess for what PGI picks for the next four BattleMechs:

Light: Firestarter
Medium: Kintaro
Heavy: Grasshopper
Assault: Banshee

These are the BattleMechs I would like added to MWO:

Light: UrbanMech
Medium: Vulcan
Heavy: Lancelot
Assault: King Crab

Thoughts/Opinions?

So now that we have 20 IS Mechs, do you think we will be seeing 20 Clan Mechs?
Would make sense wouldn't it?

Still got to see them put out the Orion, Flea and Victor. The Victor will be here July (Bryan Ekman has Tweeted about it) so we got to find out what will be here June and August. I know that they will not have the Clans ready for September so we should see some more classics IS mechs with the clan ones being announced sometime this fall. I'm betting that we see the TimberWolf first and in time for X-mas then the other iconic Clan mechs. I cannot wait for Clans to join in CW but I am afraid with the current weapons and Clan tech on Sarna it will become a "go Clan or go home" meta. The Ultra acts like a rotary AC as is; imagine a UAC20 firing like the UAC5.

Did anyone else notice the fluff on the victor that pgi is portraying it as a boat/poptart killer?

They said they had 6 ready mech designs, the Victor is the first of them. Consider they want to relase clans nearly the next year from now, so are we all thinking they'll totally halt adding new mechs from now to the 1st/second quarter of 2014? I hope not and it's unlikely so my guess it's that we'll have 24 IS mechs.

Nexth month is covered by the Orion, July either Flea or Victor, August the one remaining of the two, so I guess we'll be seeing 4 more IS mechs to cover releases through september/october/november and December. We'll start seeing clan mechs designs by november/december and have them available some months later, probably with hero mechs for IS one covering the lack of new chassis added to the game.

We'll then have the "usual" 16 Clan Omnis + 4 IIC models and we'll see if they'll even out 4 more mechs to cover the 24 IS ones.

Lights: i don't care :)
Mediums: Dervish looks to be the best thing to add among the remaining IS meds
Heavies: I don't know :)
Assaults: Banshee or Devastator, but I'd like the King Crab

which is ho wit should be. I already use MY Highlander and BoomJager for that job, can't wait to do it in my Victor! Bishop Steiner FINALLY gets his mech in July! (Just in time for my birthday.. which is kinda unimportant, since I don't even celebrate birthdays, lol)

The 10D variant came out in 3050 (if I remember correctly) and it carried an Ultra AC-20. *crosses fingers for more "ultra" weapons and consequent balancing of their mechanic*

edit for sarna look-up
ER medium's as well.... also potentially amusing.

You mean this one?

If yes, then I have bad news for you... 3064.

Perhaps Prezimonto was thinking of the VTR-9D, which was made available in 3049 (and is arguably the variant presented in the introduction story)? :)

I actually think the Dervish is less likely now. I am guessing the Whitworth will be added as a mini-Hunchback 4SP that can jump.

The developers should consider adding the Lancelot to MWO. This 60 ton heavy BattleMech has a lot of speed and firepower to bring to the table in a slender package. It would fill the role of a high speed raider at 97.2 km/h. Yes, this mech is an energy boat, but also has variants with ballistic hardpoints. This would be a very fun mech to pilot and we don't need another slow mech in the heavy category. Thoughts?

Light: Urbie or Firestarter (either are fine as far as I am concerned)
Medium: *shrug*
Heavy: *shrug*
Assault: Banshee or King Crab (I hope not the Devastator, we don't need another Awesome-profile mech at 100t)
