always leaned toward the Nova, myself. Decent speed, good armor and JJs, great weapon load outs AND a hard to hit profile. One of my all time favorite Clan Mechs, and the only medium I like more than a ShadowCat.
Mist Lynx, Nova, Summoner and WarHawk, my 4 favorite 3050s. (Later the NovaCat would make the cut too, though I liked to slap triple ACs in one arm and dual ER Large in the other)

BTW: The Trebuchet has only one variant with jump jets, so , comparing with the Trebuchet, the Kintaro is more similar.
PS: it looks like the devs are getting the most of the Classic Battletech Indroductory Box mechs, so the Dervish has an advantage here.
How does it explains the Victor?
Don't see any mentions about victors in the box set.

Sure, but i'm still curious and excited to see some well redesigned freeborn buckets!

Once i have a Fire Moth, Mad Dog and a Warhawk, i don't care about any IS mechs. Then, they can release what they want ...

It might not be interesting for the person who is piloting it (read: hitboxes).
Anyway, beautiful redesign. All mechs by this artist are top (see what he did with the Banshee).

his work is awesome, but almost TOO stylized for Battletech. I think he is almost wasted on Btech stuff.

Indeed.
In fact, I prefer the military, utilitarian look of the mechs by Alex Iglesias. There is no artist better for Battletech, IMO.
Well, this guy is a master too.
Just look at this:

Just look at this:

good art, horrible design.
a lot of guys like this one, and David White stick too true to the TRO art, IMO, which is almost universally horrid. I like the FD takes them and re-envisions them into something beside a giant pile of metal poo.

Heavy: Guillotine
Assault: Banshee
