Fafnir will only be produced in 3063 and the Mad Cat MkII in 3066.

If you are still playing MWO in the next 17 years, yeah you will have those.

The Medium I suppose will be the Blackjack. It's like a Medium Jaggermech, but with many, many interesting variants. And it jumps.

You know the Cicada jumps too if I am not mistaken. Most seem to think the Dervish will be the next medium to fill the tonnage gap. Same deal with the Orion. I'm still going to go with my original estimate of Oct 10th for the Highlander to be announced. However I do believe the next assault will be a 95 ton to fill the gap which will probably be the Banshee.

EDIT: Hey Hellspawn511, every mech on this list at this webpage (http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Unseen) will not be seen in game due to copyright infringement battles and the like. Just be glad the Flea went from an dwarf AT-ST to a cool Flea/Locust hybrid thing.

Why? The BNC-3E has 15 tons of armor it is very fast (65 kp/h) for a 95 ton assault mech. A single standard PPC, a Small Laser and a AC/5 combined with 16 hest sinks isn't bad, but it has a lack of AC/5 ammo. Only one ton (20 rounds). Maybe it can be configured well? Who knows. Give the BNC-3E a chance! ;)

Many of these mech are extinct for the last 200 years or extremely rare and will resume production only after 3055.

For instance, the Talon:

The last Talon was cannibalized for parts during the first year of the Second Succession War, 2830. The technological renaissance of the Inner Sphere allowed production to begin on Inarcs once again in 3056.

The Toro:

The League shut down and demolished all of the Toro factories by 2598 in the hope that it would crush Taurian nationalism, though there is no evidence it had the desired effect.

And so on...

Are you serious? The BNC-3E is a pure mountain of steaming crap.

PPC = good, but only one?
AC/5 = next to nothing.
Small laser = do you even count these?

Maximum damage = 18. That's a little more than a Gauss Rifle (which has better range).

Is this the armament of an Assault mech? Heck, there are Mediums better armed than this (like the Hunchback).

If you want to give a chance to the BNC-E3, go to mech lab and customize an Atlas for the BNC-3E layout. Now try to kill something with it.

Only the CDA-3F jumps. And it was produced after the Clan Invasion.

Should I? The front page is not that inaccurate, you know? The devs really halted to announce mechs for some time. And they really showed some rumors about the clans in the ISN...

Looking at the Flea (and the Highlander leaking image), I can't help but think the devs simply decided to add more 4 mechs before the clanners.

The Mad Dog/Vulture will show up next year, with the Clan Invasion. But I doubt you can put that 4 mgs on the prime variant.

We don't know how the omnipods will be handled in MWO. All I can say is about the IS mechs.
For customizing the Inner Sphere mechs, there is a hardpoint system. If your mech has 2 energy weapons in a location, there are at least 2 energy harpoints in there, meaning you could replace the Medium Lasers for other 2 energy weapons.

There are plenty of decent/good/classic IS mech models (without unseen/Reseen) still out there from before the Clan invasion such as:

(Light)
- Wolfhound, Firestarter, Night Hawk, Panther, Javelin, Mandrill, Firebee, Mercury, Firefly, Hermes, etc.

(Medium)
- Vindicator, Enforcer, Gladiator, Hatchetman, Dervish, Chameleon, Lynx, Assassin, Whitworth, Blackjack, Clint, Hermes II, etc.

(Heavy)
- Axman, Quickdraw, Bowman, Bombardier, Caesar, Champion, Flashman, Grasshopper, Merlin, Orion, Shootist, etc.

(Assault)
- Hatamoto-Chi, Banshee, Highlander, Victor, King Crab, Zeus, Cyclops, Charger, Thug, Mauler, Kodiak, Mackie, Pillager, etc.


Frankly, I would rather like to see elements of City- and Aerotech be implemented in MW:0 and, naturally, melee combat before starting the Clan invasion ;-) ...

Currently:
2012 = 3049
2013 = 3050
2014 = 3051
and so on...

In terms of the "BattleTech Eras", we're at the end of the Succession Wars Era, soon to be entering the Clan Invasion Era.
