Well so no its MWO with MW5 looks, the weapon balance in MW4 was not perfect but clearly the best balance ever offered by any Mechwarrior Game

It's been so dead around here it hasn't been worth checking in for what seems like a small age, so no rush on the replies.

There game was released yesterday. It's not polished, but it's there.
I don't know what PGI will do in 2020, but I hope they will improve their product (AI, UI, more mission variety, bug killing and adding the few missing MWO chassis) instead of just focusing in the next DLCs.

You mean it came out on Epic . . . for its year-long Beta before it actually releases on polished publishing platforms like Steam and GOG.
They took almost an entire extra year for "polish" . . . if it didn't release polished after all of the Epic bribe money, then I only expect it to actually be polished by the players, through modding. Of course, the way Epic is going modding will probably only truly become viable once the game is released on actual polished publishing platforms that have modding support.
Sounds like despite all of our best hopes . . . PGI barely managed to push out a minimally viable product? If so, that's horribly disappointing.

They say nothing... maybe they are working on DLCs, or maybe they are working in a big expansion (Clan Invasion?).
I would appreciate a roadmap.

It's the freaking Crusader!!!
(She's a beauty)
Thank you so much, PGI! Keep them coming!
If anybody cares, here is my wish-list:
- IS: Longbow, Wasp, Argus, some IS omni-mechs (Raptor, Men Shen, Avatar, Templar)
- Clan: Fire Moth, Stone Rhino, Grendel, Hellion, Fire Falcon, Bane

- Wasp [the single most essential mech not released yet in the game]
- Stinger [with priority for the Wasp]
Vulcan [not very well-known, but looks unique and could spam machineguns]- Ostroc [a redesign of this mech would be interesting to see]
Crusader [the most essential heavy mech remaining for IS]Charger- Longbow
- Fire Moth [the most essential light mech remaining for the Clans - but maybe too fast to implement in game (at least with the MASC)]
- Fire Falcon
- Coyotl [practically extinct, but otherwise a great mech]
- Mongrel
- Turkina [quirks, looks and geometry can make it worth the slow speed, but low priority]
AFTER THE TIME JUMP:
These mechs have most variants later in the timeline or with future tech. They would be better if added after the time jump to the 3060's (and after adding the new weapons/equipment): EDIT: here we are.
IS "MW4" battlemechs:
- Chimera
- Argus
Fafnir
- Raptor
- Men Shen
- Avatar (or Blackhawk KU)
- Templar
- Conjurer/Hellhound
Vapor Eagle- Hellfire
- Black Python
- Bane
- Stone Rhino
- Shadow Hawk IIC
Rifleman IIC [a design the Clans really need right now]Warhammer IIC- Phoenix Hawk IIC
- Blood Asp [most "metamech" out there]
Old post. Some mechs were released, some still may find a way into the game.

Common Variants:
MDG-1A (with quirks emphasizing the laser-focused portion of its armament)
MDG-1B (with quirks emphasizing the missile-focused portion of its armament)
MDG-2A (with quirks emphasizing the ballistics-focused portion of its armament)
Hero Variant: "Raiju", the personal Rakshasa of Haruhiko Namona.
Named after the "thunder beast" of Japanese mythology and being piloted by a DCMS MechWarrior (known for their affinity for PPC-type weapons, just as the AFFS is known for their love of light/medium autocannon-type weapons), the loadout of the Raiju could be modeled on that of the Jihad-era MDG-1Ar variant, with a mix of PPC-focused quirks ("thunder" & "lightning") and missile-focused quirks ("rain", and as a call-back to the MMLs of the canon MDG-1Ar, which aren't available in MWO at this time).
