Flying King Crab

I think it would be cool if the King Crab had jump jets. It's very design just says to me: "this sucker can fly". I know, I know, it's a 100 ton huge-ass assault battlemech, but something about the flat and wide carapace on it makes it look kind of aerodynamic. Heck, it even has little flaps on the shoulders that look kind of like wings. The way the rear side torsos overhang would be perfect spots to vent the jump jets, and there could even be an outlet on the nose where it juts out. I think it would look cool. I know it's not canon, but I think it would be sweet if PGI gave the KGC jump jets. Whatya say? Please?

Looking up and seeing this would be so awesomely cool and terrifying at the same time.

We could, but then we'd also need to give the Clans either the Stone Rhino or the Kodiak so that they could have an 100 ton 'mech with jump jets too!

Aerodynamic underwater maybe... if it didn't wiegh 100 tons... and because that it won't fall like a flying-squirrel. :P

Yeah, I know. It would be a little OP to have dual AC20 poptarts, but the KGC just looks like it supposed to fly- at least to me it does.

If they could just get the JJs to be lame with one or two JJ, but fairly decent with 4 or 5, that would be great. Now, every nerf they give the JJ just messes up the mechs that spend the tonnage to get decent lift.

I wonder if they have thought of making the JJs past the 2nd have even more lift than the first two. Have every JJ where the number of JJ is greater than or equal to 3 have double the lift. Or double the lift of every JJ past the first two. Numbers 3 and 4 have double boost. Same with 5, 6, etc....

What if they gave you full body at stock jj numbers(5jj stock mech= full 150 and 36 tall jump) but every less then full (or for exceptions like the spider flybys) adjust by divisions( 4 jj above= half thrust, 3 = quarter, 2= eighth, and 1 at 1/16th)

Oh and above stock if possible them just 30 meters and 6 vertical.

100-ton jumper that usually carries paired heavy ballistics like dual gauss or dual AC/20s.

Humanoid jumper mechs are ok, but the King Crab just looks funnier and cooler as a jumper. It would kind of be like a flying saucer with the shape and size of its carapace. The Stone Rhino is cool looking, but it wouldn't be near as cool looking as a KGC coming at you from above.

Only if it flies exactly like the crab in that video, haha! That made me lol pretty good. Then I pictured the mech itself doing that with dual 20's firing, and I stopped laughing...

LOL no....the crab video is just to sort of give us an idea of what it would look like seeing one flying. Plus, I just thought it was funny/cool.
