Wow. Make like...2000 posts supporting PGI in numerous ways, especially through the crapstorm of 2013, and because I dare make some that ain't all sunhine......, you flip out.

OK.

Yup. I'm salty. Like the sea. Got me dead to rights.

*SMH*.

Dude. It's called constructive criticism. Real supporters? Give positive and negative feedback and suggestions.

Sorry man. You're a smart guy. I read your posts and, for the most part I agree, or I learn something.

Recently less so; you seem super critical.

Maybe it's just me, if so I apologise.

Edit: also, I hardly "flipped out" ;)

Bro, I have ALWAYS been critical when they do things like totally screw up the scale, etc.
I'd also point out that my Summoner thread here is not being critical, except constructively. The Mech, and many Clan Mechs, simply are not up to par. That's just a fact. ç

Big thing I would hope stands out, is even in my critical threads, I tend to try to propose ideas, solutions, etc. Most People on here that are being salty, do not.

Also, I have tons of recent positive or help posts....but they don't tend to be massively popular and stay at the top.

Even my Executioner thread is not attacking PGI, or threatening to hold them hostage with my wallet (aside from the obviously over the top title, which my first statement in the OP addresses), but it is a very blunt appraisal of why I won't be buying the pack, despite being an ardent supporter.

Smart businesses grow off that kind of feedback. And I even admit, my "fears" could be dead wrong. But they are legit, and over 100 people have apparently agreed with me on it.

It's not me being negative. It's that occasionally to be constructive, and try to stay objective, I HAVE to be negative. I would say I support 98% of what PGI does. There is 1% I don't get why they have so much trouble fixing, and 1% that I disagree with. But if I want to be a real fan, I have to give the bad with the good.

Bishop...

If it did, we'd have to make 2 more topics on it:

1 for why it went away

1 continuing from there.

Summoner I think also needs unfixed jj.

I could work a lot better without them.

Perhaps.. you technically won a match.

Unfortunately, what you'll get as a reward will probably disappoint!

Finally, the Summoner-C's ballistic arm will receive the proper retribution it deserves!

NGNG is apparently savvy to the quirks, and Sean will be asking if a sneak preview(as with the IS mechs) would be fine.

We shall find out in two weeks anyhow. Almost certainly not Endo, and likely can't carry more ammo...but, ghost heatsinks are nice too.

sure, for more laser vomit fun. Or I suppose dual ER PPC. Sure would be nice to NOT have to run boring builds.

I don't think that's possible.

Let me put this in a more simplified context.

I have more Ice Ferret ideas/builds that I do the Summoner... and this is with all the limitations the Ice Ferret has.

Although, most of this speaks towards the poor state of Clan Ballistics though.

and yet how many more builds would Endo allow?

It's the same.

Those same builds would simply have more DHS/ammo in them, and nothing more.

ES would let me run a C-SRM6 w/Artemis on my 4 x CERML + CGauss build.

That's a waste. I wouldn't stop you from doing that, but that is a waste of tonnage. Heat sustainability is far more important when forced to brawl.

I am sure it would be decent. 45% efficiency according to smurfy weaponlab.

Happy that the Summoner is getting quirks but I really see ES options for underperformers to be the better choice if for no other reason than providing a blanket buff to all the weaker clan chassis.

Give the Summoner ES and a G Config side torso or two and it wouldn't need quirks at all.

My current SMN-PRIME build:

http://mwo.smurfy-ne...fde194027b84525

With 3.5t armor removed to simulate ES:

http://mwo.smurfy-ne...97f9558f2ada321

Nothing earth shattering but I would appreciate the added "oomph" for when you rush in and finish a weakened opponent or get the opportunity to back someone.

In many cases, IMO, that's enough.

In my bone stock Prime, 4-500 dmg 2 kills is pretty average. That's with 15 shots for the popgun, and 2 tons of reloads for a single LRM15, and 3/4ish armor. My Invasion Prime swaps the LRM15 for SRM6, ERSlaser, 1 ton more LBX ammo, about 1.5 tons more armor. Does a bit better on both fronts, ...except when I really want Indirect Fire, lol. But basically, I have to nurse my ammo, and pass on a lot of shots, and even with perfect aim, wind up down to a single ERPPC too quick.

Simple fact, 3.5 tons extrapolates to near max Armor, and 2 more tons of ammo for the LB-X, which it's no stretch to see an easy 100-200 dmg avg boost, and .5 to 1 kill.

In other words, it just became "viable". Etc.

Really hoping they give the summoner massive JJ boost/duration erPPC & ballistic quirks, I'd rather have it be a forward leaping maneuverable annoyance mech you don't want behind you. Like I imagine the grasshopper will be rather than follow the typical path of load up as much damage, unload, cool down repeat.

Massive JJ overhaul would be nice, setup a front line of heavy assault tanks with some JJ mechs behind that could I don't know, say actually use the JJs to leap forward a massive distance and get behind the enemy!

nothing makes me sadder than people wanting to pull JJs off the Summoner. Run a Gargoyle, lol!

I bet they pull the wings off flies, too.
