Your options are to ask PGI really nicely, maybe add in a request to transfer it to me. As the AH(L) is the one I'm missing and the one I want most... I want to finish my three fates set damn it!

More like "I'm a F2P player, hate the mech (have it mastered already), and value the mechbay more than the mech itself", at least in my case. If I can get the mechbay out of the deal I'll gladly go through whatever channels to make that happen. If this isn't the case, I'd rather find that out now and keep the rustbucket. Either way, mocking someone for educating themselves because you don't share their point of view is sad.

Simple. Because it is a free gift. Since it had no cost, there is no reason to sell it and even if you aren't interested in it right now, what is the say that won't change in the future. I know I have sold several mechs to free up C-bills and mech bays that I now absolutely regret having done so.

Also, they don't want people to either A) Accidentally sell the gift and have to deal with all the support tickets or sell the gift then get sellers remorse and have to deal with all the support tickets.

Special mechs (S) and anything coded like a special mech (this doesn't include Hero mechs), with unique camo patterns/colors and usually a c-bills bonus cannot be sold. This includes the loyalty prize mechs, the founders/phoenix pack mechs, and yes the new NCIX centurion as well. Thus they do not show in your "inventory" page list of the mechlab.

I still say it's one of the best generalist mechs in the game, and great for new players to understand and learn:
Weapon groupings
how each weapon type preforms.
twisting and arm shielding.

It's a jack of all trades mech, and can be exceptional in the right hands. All the CN9 variants can be.

There's no different viewpoint here. You (and others like you) are wanting something from PGI and I'm pointing out the absurdity of it. Plenty of people have already explained to you guys, over the course of several years, that the hero mechs cannot be sold because they are gifts. PGI could have just not given it to you in the first place.

I tried to sell the Loyalty Blackjack as well. Can't do it. Just be happy to have a free mech I guess and if you don't like it then don't drive it. I've had a lot of success with my CN9-D mod though so, I don't really discount the mech.

Your terrible analogy shows a glaring difference of viewpoints. It appears you see the mech as having value, more specifically a comparable value to a similar item. I see no possibility of comparison because IMO the mech does not provide the same service (having fun) that other mechs do. To better fit your analogy replace "CD" and "radio" with "oxygen deprived environment of a vaccum" and "what a deaf person hears", you'll get the idea. In your mind you're comparing like terms, in mine they're two opposites. After mastering the first loyalty reward version (xp bonus) I'm safe saying unless it gets JJs, way more speed with smaller hitboxes, or tons more guns and armor it's not my bag. Space buck bonus is the only reason I consider keeping this one, but I'd still rather have the mechbay.

Speaking of which, I wonder whatever happened to the first loyalty reward version I received, I don't see it anywhere?! IIRC I contacted support and they removed it, leaving the mechbay intact. It was so long ago, and I just keep getting older so I'm not sure anymore! I'm pretty sure it went like Ace Selin says (they posted right before you in this thread), and like Ibrandul Mike claims in the link I posted: contact support and they will leave the bay. I tend to trust Mike here since they're slightly closer to being staff (more to risk in being wrong) than a random forum poster.

Oh my, yes. Clearly this can't be interpreted as entitlement or pointless nitpicking. He either wants the free mechbay from a gift, or he could just simply ignore that it's in his mechbay because it's a non-entity (hence the CD player analogy).

As a pilot that loves her free CN9-A(C) so much, that literally haven't use any other Mechs in the past few weeks and is also my best Mech of all time...
