Nobody should use this a exact list and get excited about it they have only announced about 12 from the Art section on the website i say just wait and see whats around don't get exicted about this list even the Devs have clarified this

"A note of clarification on the BattleMech’s – We have a system for announcing the Mech’s to the community on the web site but one should not assume this means that all of those Mech’s are currently present in the beta or that they are all available come Open Beta. We essentially add them into the game one at a time in very near the same way they are announced on the web site. Our expectation is that there will be 10 unique model types along with all their variants making for a total of around 40 different chassis come Open Beta. From that point forward they will continue to be added at a very regular pace."

Warhammer was Unseen yet it was done in the first reboot trailer, they even got a third person view of it, so i dont think unseen even matters.



As I understand it, the Unseen designs were finally settled in court, but the verdict only applied to the boardgame. This is why the Unseen could be used again in BT publications. However, the case did not cover electronic games, and so the Unseen had to be pulled from video games until a seperate agreement is reached.

Note that the 'Reseen' designs will most likely not be seen in-game, as those designs did not come out until just before the Jihad, so we're about a decade or more too early for them.

I was working making a list like this....i was doing it more indepth but i see no reason to do it now.

In any case i believe all mechs that have less than 3 variants in this timeline won't make it into the game since the dev's put up a picture that they have removed now.
It showed how you earned experience for each chassis and that picture had 3 or was it 4 variants on it. The selection might be much thinner than this due to this fact.

But i could be wrong....maybe they have changed that.

unseens are very very unlikely - and not required. I'd also disregard melee mechs. and the hoplite as its retarded...

now, from the list, get rid of those with less than 3 possible variants (they want at least 4 variants for each mech in-game)

The dev's have not annouced a 75 ton heavy, this has me concerned that their will be a large gap between current heavies and assualts. Combine that with the fact that as of yet the black knight hasnt been announce to be in game confounds me to no end
