Here is my updated Mech list.
A lot of wishfull thinking in other's lists.
Really need to keep it: TRO3025, TRO3039, TRO3050(old and newer books).
You should not be picking Inner Sphere mechs that Are: Unseen / Quads / LAMS / Comstar / extinct Star League / Word of Blake / Clans / Wolf's Dragoon designs.

There are a lot of mechs out there to choose from still.

Whitworth
Wolfhound
Grasshopper
Hermes
Hermes II
Panther
Spider
Javelin
Assassin
Hachetman (with false hachet)
Clint
Vulcan
Blackjack
Vindicator
Enforcer
Trebuchet
Dervish
Quickdraw
Jagermech
Orion
Charger
Victor
Zeus
Stalker
Cyclops
Banshee
Hatamoto-Chi
Mauler / Daboku
Urbanmech
Firestarter
Wolftrap (Enters in 3050)
Caesar (Enters in 3050)
Guillotine (Enters in 3050)

(Downgraded Star League mechs that still have production / parts factories existing in 3048 accoring to TRO3039)
Champion -2n
Lancelot 25-02
Flashman -7k
Thug -10e
Flea -4
Hornet -151
Thorn -S
Mongoose -67
wyvern -6N

Alot of the rare and extinct were given to the Combine during the 3039 war by Comstar to offset the power of the new Federated Commonwealth.

I have tried to reflect this, but if it isn't noted in the sarna entry, I have no way of knowing.
a handful of the mechs on the list are in this category

all mechs in this list are listed as being created prior to 3049, and all variants are too, and I looked at the sarna entry for every one to determine if they were extinct / comstar only

I also tried to note when they were wolfs dragoons designs, and this list shouldnt have any clan mechs, as I filtered by inner sphere AND read the descriptions

it is not out of the question that unseens may be in this game, and why not list quads? in any event, I have tried to make notes on each mech if it is unseen/rare/quad/etc...

if you have any SPECIFIC corrections of mistakes that I have made, please let me know

Thorn: In the thirty-first century the Thorn unexpectedly reappeared in the service of House Kurita. Primus Myndo Waterly was intent on countering the power of the unitedFederated Suns and Lyran Commonwealth.(TRO 3039)Rare

Hermes: Today the ’Mech exists as ancient machines held together with spit and ingenuity, with their advanced technology stripped away for any modern equivalent that will get the job done...(only shows up in Com Guards)(TRO 3039)Very Rare

Gladiator: The dishonor of the Gladiator, along with its primitive construction, meant House Kurita never salvaged any GLD-1R losses, and the machine quickly became extinct. May be found in Miltia units(TRO 3075) Extinct

Mackie: It was well known, it used simple and widely available components, and it benefited from extensive aftermarket support that kept a few hundred in service until the twenty-eighth century.(with the fall of Star League and plant destoryed militia units slowly lost their mackies)(TRO 3075)Extinct

Remarks taken directly from the technical readouts listed

Also the unseen mechs are no longer unseen...(TRO: Project Phoniex)Catalyst Games was able to buy the rights to the orginal battlemechs from Harmony Gold(Robotech creators) and can put out models and pics in books again...they changed images slightly to give them their own flair(cough and to smooth ruffled feathers) but the unseen mechs should be legally availabe to show up in games again.

All I ask....all I wanna know....all I plead to know....is....Will the Warhammer be in at launch? She is my Iconic 'Mech (from Macross, to robotech, to Battletech), and it would hurt mah heart to know she's not there yet.....

now, from the list, get rid of those with less than 3 possible variants (they want at least 4 variants for each mech in-game)

This narrows the selection by quite a bit. The Urbie only has two variants so it doesn't make it. The Urbie fans won't like that.
But then again that's just about the only Inner Sphere mech that's so popular that it might make it into the game anyhow.
I'm not one of those fans mind you.

I guess that makes that idea of having a mech designing contest for the fans every year something to think seriously about.

Hey Riin Suul. You might want to add the Spider 5V variant. It's from 2650 according the Master Unit list.

You can't just link TRO 3050 as the comprehensive list since it was never designed to be a comprehensive list of the available mechs in 3050.

What do you mean? Please give a closer explanation. Are there mechs that are missing or are there too many?

The Clint 2-4T is in the TR 3039 so it should be there too i think. It's a version with two AC 2's.

It's a Clan mech. The clans invade later. About a year from now i think. Maybe it will become available then. But that's a big maybe.

From the videos we've seen in game:
  • Atlas
  • Jenner
  • Catapult
  • Commando
  • Dragon
  • Hunchback

with this in mind there are 4 chaises that still need to be placed in game so relay we should be trying to guess what last 4 mechs will be
and when you look at it like this 10 battle chaises in total seams kinda of a small amount even though there my be 40 variant still dosent mean that much casue at the end of the day a cat is still a can and a jenner is still a jenner no matter what hard points or weapons package is on it
