CW is not about the individual. Anyone with solo match scoring results at the end of CW (high kill count low assist count) is a detriment to their team (only exception being if they are killing more than 1/2 of the enemy team (so 25 kills or more).
(As with anything there are exceptions)
#2 Stick with the mob.
Solo players are going to get eaten alive in CW by either the enemy team or the turrets. So there is no sympathy for the solo.
#3 Don't QQ at your first death. You have 4 mechs.
#4 Consider the group you are dropping with if you are dropping with an organized team or unit.
If they are consistently losing and yet attempting the same strategy each time. GET OUT
(That is Einstein's definition of insanity.)
If after losing a match and recapping what went down you do not hear/read any one criticizing their own play, and I don't mean just saying 'I did poorly' but actually breaking down where they messed up at, then it's definitely time to look for a different unit. The inability to assess ones own mistakes becomes an inability to accept one's units mistakes and then no progress towards getting better can even take place if the problems aren't even looked at as problems.
If you offer observations/constructive criticisms and it's met with excuses. GET OUT.
(See the previous paragraph)
If your unit has few to no other friendly units. GET OUT.
(This is feudal warfare and total failure in diplomacy will be total failure in this war.)
#5 Teamspeak. USE IT.
In game voice comms or not does not matter. Teamspeak, and other comms programs, exist. There is no excuse for not using it. Don't blame PGI for not adding something to the game that they don't need to in actuality.
#6 PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE
See rule #1 and fight superior units repeatedly. Die A LOT. Lose as many times as it takes until you stop losing. Sure if you get overly frustrated, pissed off, then take a break from it, but you are never going to beat a superior foe that you refuse to fight.
