So is it just me or is CW just a joke of a rip off of assault mode in public drops? It is great to spend an entire match running to gens, taking out 2 on your own, plus a gate gen and multiple turrets, and then end up with a match score under 40....right!?
Why would there be any sort of gen or turret if we are not being rewarded for dealing with them single handedly while pugs just sit and try to play pop shot? How do you justify a player getting very few prizes during this stocking stuffer event after winning multiple matches for a team, and then handing out over 500 mc and multiple mechbays to players who cant last five minutes in a match? How can you justify rewarding cowardice and stupidity in matches rather than tact and effectiveness? matches like conquest and CW need more objective based rewards, or just take them out all together. It DOES NOT encourage team play, and DOES NOT make proper players feel like they should be working as hard as they do.

Well, a reward for damage to the generators does not sound like a stupid idea to me . .

I have never encountered an Omega, or gates of any sorts in assault. Have you? I still agree on the reward thing. Rewards for the whole group, not just the killing blow.

I think assault is the joke, and CW is exactly what assault should have been.

In CW if you somehow managed to kill all gens and turrets yourself you should be making a lot more then someone who only fought against mechs and has a handful of kills. CW is suppose to be objective based gameplay. That there is little to no rewards for going after the objectives is asinine to me. If this wasn't beta my WTF meter would about shoot out the top of my head. lol
Edit: If CW wasn't suppose to be objective based then why have attack/defense style maps at all? Why not just make maps and let each player slug it out with 4 mechs?
