So I've been looking at the in-game star map and the one here.
Why is CGB's invasion corridor so wide? Why do they own Wolf worlds? Heck, their capital Manaringaine was never owned by CBG!
I wish I'd gotten a chance to look at the map on Day 1, but it seems to me the "First Wave" line should be the starting point. This is the little stuff that really bothers me. I thought these people were supposed to be BattleTech fans, doesn't seem very fan-ish to make these kinds of changes for seemingly no reason (if there is a reason I'd be glad to learn it, but the only persons who could give a definitive answer are unlikely to respond).
Did anyone taken a close look at the IS House borders to make sure they were on the level?

Dunno if there are any errors with planets, but current owerships of worlds is by successfully invading them.

Yes, I realize this. That's why I lament not getting to take a good, zoomed-in look at the Day 1 map. That still doesn't explain why three worlds that are canon Wolf worlds are held by Ghost Bear (one of which is even the Ghost Bear 'capital') and have been since Day 1; while I can't make out the planets precisely, those three worlds up by Manaringaine are clearly Ghost Bear held since Day 1.
In other news, did anyone notice the Pentagon Worlds, Clan Space, and most of the Periphery worlds are actually there on the map, they're just not highlighted or attackable/defendable.

I guess the Clan planets like Manaringaine were picked for at least one safe harbor world that cannot be lost, dunno why that one in particular was picked for CGB.
And on a side note, Rasalhague is the Capital for FFR, maybe Tukayyid should eventually be made their safe world instead.
I dunno what other sources are available that give more info online, but one of the better ones I've seen has been sarna's page on the Invasion Corridor here. And Manaringaine is listed as a CGB planet there.

I'm still googling, but many maps do not show planet names and Clan ownership together that I've seen so far.
