I have a dream! That someday, people will be fighting over the Company Command/Lance Leader role. I have a dream! That each battle would be breathtaking and unique from each other. Unlike the battles we have today, where both teams automatically go for that one spot of the map and slug it all out. (I'm talking about the caldera in caustic, platform in crimson, mt everest in alpine, you get the point)

I'm hoping that these two roles is more used. It's rare that I see anyone actually using this feature, which saddens me a bit. I see MWO as a a strategy FPS game, but right now, I feel like it's all about going with the mainstream builds made by certain youtubers and fighting a TDM, ignoring the objectives (I'm looking at Assault).

Anyway, enough of that. In the first time I've played in Crimson and River City, I thought to myself, "How awesome would it be if we had combined arms fighting in this map" Well, technically, we already have combined arms with the Arty and CAS, but I wanted more! I want to see some Tanks, Infantry, and maybe some VTOLs hovering around in the battlefield.
To add another layer of strategy in this gameplay, why not let the Company Command/Lance Leaders "control" the AI units by being able to command them by using the battlegrid?

I know PGI won't be implementing this, but I just wish this could happen in a future Mech Warrior Multiplayer.

TL;DR: AI Tanks, Infantry that can be commanded by the Company Command/Lance Leader using the battlegrid
