So my friend Demagien and I suddenly, simultaneously, have a patching issue.
We were playing the game just fine..I then quit so I could run Fraps, and re-started the game, only to come up to the "Patch" loader. Thinking nothing odd of this, and thinking maybe a hotfix for some bug or other was added, I hit "Patch".  Unfortunately, after the patch finished..it wanted to patch AGAIN...so I uninstalled completely, and tried to re-install with a clean install..same perpetual "Patch" loop occurs with it trying to download six frickin' gigs of data for no damn reason at all.
Please fix this, ASAP, as I just got my 7 days of premium time, and this BS is cutting into my play time!

Yeah, I've got the same thing. I sent a ticket to support and they said that nothing until 1/5, so at this point, I'm not sure what to do.

Just got mine working again. Had to run the repair tool TWICE. Not sure if it'll stay fixed, but there is that.

A complete uninstall/reinstall seems to have solved it. Sigh, back to keymapping again. joy

I am having the same issue, I found that if I exit the launcher and try again after a few tries it will go away but its only a short term fix

Well, after about 3 days, it did it again. Ran the repair tool 3 times before it finally worked.

Now it's happened again, and am having to fix it again. Don't know how man times with the repair tool it will take.

This including the fact that where I live, I don't have an incredibly fast connect, and a full scan/repair cycle will take the better part of an hour... and then have to do at least one more time.

Getting extremely frustrated here.

The third try with the patcher worked this time. I think they are having server issues, and everything is timing :(

They really need to fix it

Update: nevermind. Now it can't find the file. Back to square one. *sigh*

Update #2: The repair tool deleted the 64 bit folder. That's why it can't find it.

Update #3: I'm going to uninstall/reinstall AGAIN. Maybe this time it will work

3rd installation didn't work, it just cycled to a 4th download when it finished. Two hours trying to get it to work is enough. I'm going to go read or play sports.

Finally got it working. All it took was three more repairs and another install :(

Hey everyone,

Apologies for the delay. I've just put up a fairly comprehensive post on how you should be able to resolve these issues.
