iv started to spectate and see people who seem to be aim botting where they are running backwards and turning with perfect aim on the cockpit on mechs. meaning perfectly smooth aiming directly at the cockpit area.
aim crosshair was also snapping to mechs cockpits...

There is a difference between snapping and tracking. When you are playing with the true tools of pc gameplay (aka. KB/mouse ) and not a joystick/gamepad, you will realize that what you do closely resembles an aimbot (i.e. tracking targets). The player himself does not notice this (because its based on instinct), but observing players see a reticle that is always on target (which is btw a disadvantage...torso twist anyone?)
Usually there is also another scenario (that has happened to me). when i'm in my ice ferret i usually make use of the quick torso twist to spread damage... and use a quick shooting window to hit a target. I've been accused ingame of using an aimbot just because my view is shaking like crazy (crazy torso twist) but when i shoot, i'm dead center on target.
