Wasn't you guy, AFAIK, your unit wasn't involved in the holiday turret dropping, I'm talking about the piratey pirates that were passively plundering.

AH. Gotcha. By the way, we tried upgrading your turret grids on Nestor. OMG. WHY ARE THEY RUNNING ON A COMMODORE 64?!?!?!

Since y'all have been busy with Davion we've been dropping against Jade Falcon lately, lol. :)

By all means. Start screaming and hollering. Draw out attention back. I would much rather go North.

Would be awesome to see you do that. But wouldnt that mean leaving your east-wing territory undefended and ready to be rofl-stomped even more by the sunshines? Hope you got strong sun loation if so B)

Steiner folks need to realize that when MS leaves you will not have enough capacity to continue to attack into the clans, defend against the clans, and defend against Marik.

If Steiner units would leave Marik alone and focus on the clan planets they would do a lot better in the long run.

My guys want fights against teams, not unorganized pugs. Let the pugs fight the pugs. Units will respond if needed.

The only reason people want to fight CJF all of a sudden is because a majority of the comp teams left for the FRR. So now they are "easy pickings". There is a difference in hunting for a bird, and shooting one in a cage. I'd rather not have my guys do the latter, just to see our name on a planet.

Until people figure out that switching to different factions to purposefully screw with the balance of CW is bad for the game as a whole, then we will continue to the same problem of weak vs. strong. All it does is continue to push new players out of the games, and keeps the game in a state of, "Get better, baddie."

People want to be super serious about CW, but until they understand that their units have a large impact on the mood and reception of the game, things will never change.

*Ahem* We might be out numbered to all hell and back, but we've still got a few teams that can hold our own over here in CJF.

Wanna give a Heads up to the Jade Falcons. Even I am no Friend of the Clans I think that all picking on one Faction is really bad and PGI needs to do something to prevent this. But on the other Hand, the FRR was under massive Attacks from all other Factions before... Still it feels wrong now that most of the Units in the North switched to the FRR. Would love to see Bonuses in the Payouts, if you play your Faction lorewise. If in the End we get a much different political Situation than the official one, MWO might run into some serious Issues...

Some special Bonuses should be given out to ensure that Houses and Clans got enough loyal "Houseunits". There should be more Houseunits than Mercs in the Game. At the Moment Mercs can influence the political Situation too much to make it believable.

That's because the Merc's can bring not only the numbers but also the organisation to actually have the impact on CW borders. House Unit's don't always talk to each other, they don't focus attack lanes, and they often don't play above the level of casual in most cases (basically playing with friends). Merc's on average organise themselves, communicate daily, train players to a level of skill (CW is teaching many smaller unit's how to vastly improve their game and skills), utilise effective builds and tactics to win games consistently.

At the moment I think the last week has shown how much a stabilising force merc's make for factions, and can drastically affect the outcomes on multiple front's but sheer skill and numbers.

Even if that was true, a unit with 500 players doesn't need coordinate or plan attacks/defends. They just need to have their 500 plus players zerg rush a particular planet. Due to the fact that almost any organized team will beat pugs In other words they can still achieve the amount of success that they have by only communicating with the players in their unit and not any other unit in the faction, the simple fact that almost all the planets in JF are being captured by CI and MS, it's obvious that the mercs care little about the rest of the steiner units. CW is just way to unbalanced at the moment when a faction like JFP wins the vast majority of their fights but still loses a planet cause 5 plus organized groups of mercs are having a fun time stomping our pugs in easy victories

That's it... no unit has 500 players... if they do, ask them the % of active players. Typically for every 100 players you might have around 20-25 active, get to 500 players you might have 60-75 active at any one time. That's at least 5 12man's and whilst you don't need to talk to others to slam them into a planet to win, you get tied down onto that single planet. If you don't talk to other unit's and their 12 man's you can't put forces where needed, where one unit focuses a planet, another might rotate their troops through turret drops (to try and get defenders to visit the planet) and defense clean up.

The question comes down to is JFP also just pug stomping? At present there are anywhere between 4-6 games being played at a time on Clan worlds. MS has come across small premade group unit's, hell a small GK premade held off my 12man of MS. Remember also that whilst quantity might seem to matter, quality of players in the match drastically changes the tide. I've fought both JFP and KCom when fighting CJF... the problem is that there should be some method for unit's to drop against other units, let the pugs go vs pugs, and let the unit's intercept each other. Not only would the games be better, it might also mean you hold crucial territory.

Remember, Clan border worlds tend to be almost 50% filled with pugs...
