Pat I absolutely love that you put this quote in this thread.
On the subject however, have we lost a few good (from what I have seen of them in battle I will they are good because they are) Merc units went on to battle elsewhere, does this mean we may lose a few more fighters here or there especially with other good Merc units having signed on with Steiner (the battles I have faced you MS and CI have been fun, regardless of if I win or lose) and as a gamer I say this. To all the Mercs that have switched this last week I wish you good battles where you land.
On a more RP style note I say this on the subject. What do you expect of Freebirth pilots? They are not warriors of Kerensky as we torthkin are so mourn their lose not and keep on the path to Terra.
One final note, Battle hard and have fun!

It's been fun fighting on more fronts once again, and good games are on all of them. The Jade Falcon's have actually been the most interesting, having faced Kell's Commando's a few times swapping win ratios, and Jade Falcon Prime who put up a good fight. Wolf's are a different kettle, but always fun to bash heads with... personally haven't seen much of the kurita or FRR border myself but been hearing good things from those locations.
As it stands Merc unit's will dynamically move and counter-move to get fight's, and go for infamy, that's the nature that is the beast of CW. It's a game, not a life, it's here to be enjoyed and that's what I'm doing, as a gamer .
See you on the battlefield Falcons!

not yet but there has been talk about the ones that refuse to go with the plans or try and get better
possibly some spots will open up if your looking
The benefit of having a smaller unit is that you can keep this to a minimum, but even in my unit I've been having some issues with this. But you know, what can you do when you have a volunteer force. :|

You know what they say about one-eyed people ruling lands of the blind.
Can you guys please go troll another thread. You have.. you know... IS forums to doink about in... and what do you even care VR... you don't even play CW. Why not just stick in the general forum. Being a forum warrior prolly carries more weight there. Leave the fighting and CW discussion to men and women.

The Lords trolling us everytime we got in a match with them didn't help either.
Right now we are enjoying stifling the wolves in the FRR. If get bored running our IS mechs we'll probably go Smoke Jag or come back to the Falcons.

I wasn't aware that they were even there, I guess we've been lucky and haven't got them in a drop yet. I figured they had jumped on the fedrat wagon.

DERP spent 50mil to break its CJF contract. (and was a great move to be honest)
1. Lack of communication/coordination between units. Despite a going a number of different routes, only one unit seemed to be trying to work with us. Others kinda seemed to have a go it alone attitude.
2. After a day or so of figuring out what worked we were having a pretty high success rate. And when dropping solo or in small groups with other units, when trying to say "hey try this, its working for us" a number were quite vocal about continuing with their failed ways.
3. Lack of common comms, and people will to join when given info when one was provided.
And rest was pretty much to many people who were ******* to pugs and their own CJF members.

Are they as bad as E N E R G Y, or more like second generation LORDS? Because you guys have been grabbing the worst of the best players for at least a year, and it makes me laugh.
Hey if they keep it up they may try to recruit you next year.
And me 2 years after that.

they were rumored to be leaving CJF long ago, it maybe because of what happened at Butte Holde with pretty much all jade falcons unit refusing to help them defend a captured wolf planet. Or it maybe cause they just decided to go where the most intense fighting is occurring at the moment, which is in the FRR. Or maybe they justed wanted a change of scenery. Maybe its more towards the later but who knows,

1) thats not a JF problem that is a shy people problem, we in JFP have been saying for weeks now "we have TS on the NGNG server" "we have TS on the NGNG server" "we have TS on the NGNG server" over and over again but some just don't want to show. The old saying goes "you can lead a horse to water but you can't force it to drink"
2) because it was beginning few weeks of CW and you guys were mostly dropping with PUGS
3) NGNG TS server Jade falcon....NGNG TS server Jade falcon which btw members of DERP were using
and no offense but i think if their is a problem with something your better off fixing it rather then running away, just my opinion of course

Shy people problem? lmfao.. Just saying.. If you knew anything about any of our guys it is that there isn't a damn one that's shy..
And as I said, JFP is the only one that seemed had any kind of communication. Made post, went in streams, in IRC crap, even lords ts and everything else trying to get info on what "other" units were doing. You should know we had 15-30 guys in our ngng nightly.
You think all is good with how its done over here, go see how other clans/factions are doing it and then get back to me. (no offense)

BTW, we were there on contract and focus is to help NOT set things up for you. Brought up the issue a couple times, and saw little to no improvement so it was time to go.

So the problem was that only JFP and Lords had coms and not any other JF unit? Well really i don't know if you want to go into RJF's channel unless you can speak good Russian. But it's funny they work fine playing along side english speaking pugs and haven't left yet. Most other units were merc units and JFO i believe they have coms.
I don't know what you were expected, im only a lowly mechwarrior and i can't go to every unit and say "hey guys in this unit need to get some coms" most people don't listen to complete strangers online. Perhaps we do have a communication problem and if we do im hoping that our trothkin and fellow crusaders in Smoke Jaguars can tell us what were doing wrong especially given that our two clans are allies (lorewise)
Also did you ever consider that some....actually most of all units here are not interested in setting up coms? This isn't like the FedRAT with 50000 loyal unts were not even like the Smoke Jags who have more loyalist units with permanent contracts, we have one of the lowest population on MWO...this faction depends on mercs. Most of our units starting out were merc units who like yourself weren't here to establish a central TS server for JF. You do realized that their is only 3-4 hardline JF groups including the russians, and most all of them have a TS channel. Simply put if you drop with a team of 12 man...get on their TS server.
And yes i have dropped with smoke jags, bears, wolves, never did they direct me to a TS server, the only one that im sorta familiar with is Star Adder's Strana Mechty server so i see no difference

I think just inviting people who are in a drop with you to your TS would go a long way. Last night I ended up in a drop with the 228th. They invited us to their TS and we had a great match. A lot of people are too timid or don't want people intruding but if you want to get a unified front going that would be a good start.

Yea it does
and i didn't want to continue this and carry on with this thread and i don't mean any ill toward anyone buts it's just the US army soldier in me that cringes when i hear someone say they can't continue cause something wasn't working out, i always thought i wouldn't qualify with the M16 assault rifle cause i was only hitting 18 targets in pre-qual at basic training (you have to hit 23 to pass in the US army) the day i went to qualify i ended up hitting 27 and ended up hitting the 300 meter target which was nice. So their is no such thing as can't their is only do (which i think is yodas saying). If something is not going as plan....carry on and make the best of it, don't give up and leave just IMO

The man asked a question why some had left, and I gave a reply as to why we did (a 70+ player unit). I could really give a flying flip as to how you feel about it, nor how you want justify our non-issue. Apparently others see an issue you don't, so maybe you should open ya eyes a little and not be so thickheaded. But yea, keep pushing forward (I mean loosing planets).
