So this puts the effective damage based on effective kills then wasted damage being around 800 to 1300 damage.
3000+ damage would only occur if someone is doing a lot of supporting or carrying...
I never seen lord in a 4 man group or less. I often only see them do a range between 1400 to 1700 damage.
This could be the fact you are an inner sphere pilot and these are clans.
But another thing is that Clanners are often the attackers, and attacking is rarely ever won by killing all 48 mechs, it's often rushing the base.

sadly there is no mech with high mounted hardpoints for the clans besides the Adders flamer, the Kitfoxes torso ballistics, the timberwolf, hellbringer, summoner, mad dog, and direwolf missile.
Kinda surprised you mentioned the mist lynx as a high weapon mounted mech...
Firemoth I would understand but not the mist lynx...
