They're not Angels.

They're Norns. There were 3 primary norns and a number of secondaries.

It's possible there will be more, but I'm betting PGI will move on to something else.

I'm assuming these are the Wang Wielders?
The Jagers should be a part of these then, if a STD build is required, then maybe the Highlander?

Other ideas for groups of mechs: Archangels, Musketeers, Ninja Turtles. They could allow decals for famous dynasties of various factions as a cool little thing, e.g. Kurita could have Oda, Tokugawa, Shimazu, Steiner could have von Babenberger, Salian, FRR could have af Munso, Yngling, Davions could have de Normandie, Karling and Tudor etc. I'd love that.

I want there to be a magic set of mechs, like a set of armour in WoW. Collect all 4 mechs in your magic set, put them all in your dropdeck and they all get a +5% torso twist bonus. And magic glow.

A lance of four fates should conform to the 3333 rule but that's already broken by crab and atlas.

Would of been good to see a lance of fate weave some magic.

Divine beings don't care about Paul's arbitrary quarterly design decisions.

And a heat shield that stops 20% of incoming laser damage?

Less test tube, more psychotic cyborgs.

The Manei were fanatically loyal, cybernetically enhanced troops. Most of them tended to be Inner Sphere veterans or elites before being augmented. With their augmentations they were roughly equal to clan warriors, and far more frightening as they were not squeamish about fighting dirty. And when I say "fighting dirty" I don't mean ganging up on people, I mean chemical, biological, nuclear, and/or radiological weapons.

Norns don't have wings, therefore they are angles.

Angels often are not depicted with wings. Angels appearing as winged humanoids is a relatively recent development. Traditionally they either appear fully human or as some kind of eldritch abomination.

For example, the following image depicts a traditional Judeo-Christian angel:

Well, that's kinda what happens when you go out of your way to p**** off every single other faction in the known universe.

Was WoB supposed to be the Mechwarrior Universe {Godwin's Law}'s actual attempt at an Aryan race? THey sound very similar to the WWII {Godwin's Law}...delving into all kinds of weird stuff, pissing on everyone's cherrios and ending up getting gang banged brutally by anyone and everyone...

And now that ive see what the censor does to n a z i....thats funny.

Guess it depends on the artist now doesn't it?

http://en.wikipedia....nir_by_Lund.jpg

And the mechs in game have their names written right on them in the camo pattern.

Uror on the neck of the Atlas
Veroandi on the arm of the Centurion
Skuld on the King Crab.

Those were the Norns.

The WoB was a splinter faction of Comstar that broke off after the Battle of Tukkayyid because they weren't pleased by attempts to secularize the organization and be more open with other factions. They saw themselves as saviors of humanity. And they utterly lost their s*** when the second Star League disbanded. Persistent rumors say that they contained the remnants of Clan Wolv8ptuihegn... Bottom line is the line holders wanted to redo the B tech universe to be a dark place of limited technology but still full of stompy robots (and in part to cash in on the click base craze of the time) so they made up a splinter faction that somehow gathers enough strength to do what the combined powers of the Great Houses and the Clans could not. Take over the Inner Sphere.

WoB never made logical sense.
