Steiner is only on a ceasefire with Davion, Marik is a don't hit they won't hit type of stalemate. Kurita and FRR are open to attack and the Clan's as always will try to push south so push back on both fronts.

Pirates only cease firing for parlays. Only Pirates can invoke the right of parlays. Ergo, if nobody on the opposite team is a Pirate, there can be no parlays. If there are no parlays, then there can be no ceasefire. If there is no ceasefire, then the Brethren will continue shooting every laser, shell, and missile in our arsenal until one side or both lies in a heaping, smoking ruin.

If the other side dies first, then we loot their pockets, take their stuff, and drink their grog.

Not "respecting" a ceasfire...?

Creating a ceasefire was disrespectful.

The Kurita/Steiner border has been quiet for a long time, but there is no official ceasefire that I am made aware of - and I discuss these sort of things with a Kuritan... House Kurita and House Steiner are currently in a 'cold war' state as both sides should more or less be dealing with the clans.

If you will notice, The FRR has not made any aggressive moves toward Steiner as we are fighting back exclusively on the Clan front, as Steiner should be doing. The only time FRR forces engage with Steiner forces is when The FRR is required to defend it. In most cases, The FRR ends up conceding the planet because our forces are needed against the Clans.

At this time, you have MS and CI who are giving you plenty of attack power, but what about when they leave to go back to CGB? They have come to clearly make their mark and have made enemies of nearly all of your borders. If you cannot see that their hidden agenda is to cause instability between the IS houses, so that CGB can more easily focus exclusively on IS territory, then your leaders are completely oblivious to the overarching Ghost Bear strategy. They will leave you to deal with more enemies than you started with.
If you look at the initial attacks, you will see that The FRR has no interest in fighting with Steiners or Kuritans. The DCMS understands this and has agreed to a NAP with The FRR. Let's put our past behind us and look to the future with Steiner and The FRR fighting our common enemy, The Clans. This is how it will look:

1. Steiner can focus on fighting Clans Wolf and Jade Falcon without concern about their IS borders.

2. The FRR can focus on fighting Wolf and CGB on our borders, while being able to share with Steiner defensive forces where Wolf is concerned. This is mutually beneficial, since it divides Wolf forces on 2 fronts. If Wolf is weak when Steiner is focused against CJF, then CJF may seek to eat Wolf meat. We have already seen aggression by CJF toward Wolf, so this is likely to happen. The Bears may get hungry, as well, since battle-hardened Viking meat is old, tough and gamey. We already know that MS and CI are hungry and have been itching to try Wolf meat, which is a side benefit of coming to Steiner temporarily.

3. Our 2 factions' actions can help rally the IS against the Clans on defense, so that the bordering Clan-IS factions can focus on pushing them back. Our infighting is only benefiting the Clans and it really does need to stop.

I implore the Steiner units and leadership to consider the above picture and open a dialogue with The FRR about a NAP. I know that Steiner wants to show strength and not back down, as does The FRR, but we should show it where it most matters... at the Clan front.

We can't, but thanks for the insightful comment. Maybe YOU could attack them, and we'll defend your planets? Just a thought.

The last 2 days have such glorious tales of FRR success. I can only imagine that the delay is because of the juicy content to be written about!

The 30.12.3049 isn´t even a week ago - that´s when you refreshed the hostilities between our houses by taking Sevrin.

Let us be honest here, Steiner forces had been attacking the FRR held world of Orestes, our Regional capital btw.
On the third or fourth day of this 'defend from Steiner attacks only' a rather heavy push on Orestes by Steiner occurred and by the time that was repelled and the Steiner forces retreated, we saw that it had cost the losing of so much ground at our Clan attack worlds that it was futile at that point to go back there.

The freed up Orestes Defense Forces of FRR units then went straight from the Defense of Orestes to an Assault on Sevren.

The next day, no Steiner's attacked us and we attacked only Clan targets.

The FRR's main interest is fighting the Clans, we enjoy the IS mech vs Clan mech battles, we thrive on the target rich environment of attack worlds that other factions call "Surrounded and doomed".

We are well aware that the Steiner units and merc companies are very ummm Independent from each other, with some few being outright renegades and pirate groups. But the fact that your faction could make a working ceasefire with Clan wolf shows you can act united at some point.

The CI and -MS- merc/CGB units will be leaving you by this next week end, the FRR/Kuritan's operation Hangover grand offensive helped sparked your forces Clan offenses which turned out very well for Steiner.

The Clanners lose so bad because all 3 IS houses attacked all 4 clans and not each other, well Davion did do a major push against Kurita that stalled the DCMS clan attack, almost as if they saw their interests were aligned with the clans interests. But Davion doesn't control Steiner does it?

Think about wh

In any game of strategy, one must look at the current moves made and why those moves are being made in order to anticipate what is to come.
