Some Gargoyle Builds That I Enjoyed

1 LPL. 6 SPL
SPLs are really cold and this guy can brawl pretty nicely. Pretty cold too
8 MPLs
Rather hot, but with some fire control can be really really nasty.
2 PPCs
Really cold build for 2 PPCs, can deal a lot of damage. I typically do around 500 average (only basic skills) I was trying 3 before but found it way to hot.
1 UAC20 4 MLs
Avoid double tapping the UAC rapidly to avoid those hour long jams, play it like a centurion.
Others have used an LB-X 20, and you can also go UAC10 if you want more MLs
2 LPLs 3 MPLs
Pretty cool with fire control, could use a different variant for better laser placement.
1 PPC. 6 MLs
Good for a no arm run.
If I find any more I'll let you guys know. Try to find something that this thing can do correctly. Also I don't really care if any other of the Clan mechs can do the job better, I'm just trying to show off some builds I found useful for this mech. Give it a try.
Keep moving, keep twisting and don't overheat. its actually pretty tanky if you keep the back armor pretty low. 8 for STs and 10 for CT is the most balanced I found.

LPL + 6SPL sounds fun, but the rest of the builds seem like novelty builds. Kinda fun, sometimes effective, but generally a good way to nerf an already weak mech.
And a Gargoyle with the firepower of an Adder Prime is just... no. 2CERPPCs is alright for heavy mechs, if they bring some support weapons. But the Gargoyle is the size of a small mountain. Makes no sense to make it a mobile, high DPS sniper, in my opinion. Hellbringer does that job a lot better.

well yea this mech isn't very good. other mechs do its job better. but you might as well have fun grinding it out especially if you bought this thing. Also Its not the loadout, its how you use it, and the Gargoyle can pack enough heat sinks to shoot those PPCs without overheating a lot. done quite well with it and thinking about keeping it.

A worse Nova; that's all this mech can aspire to be. Rather sad for an Assault. A couple additional heatsinks, at least.

Still, the Hellbringer does it better because of high mounted hardpoints and ECM.
Poor gargy needs some love to be anything more than a fat, average laserboat.

Can Alpha twice and still have heat to chain the MPLs for a little while.

It's something I keep meaning to find out, so I can 3D print some mechs.

How do you rip the 3D files from the game?

This thread; first page describes the process, but this page has someone talking about printing.

I think I might put the Gargles below the Thor because the Thor is a medium trapped in a heavy's body while the Gargles is a medium trapped in an assault's body.
I might also put the Ferret ahead of the No-va because it has a more distinct niche, whereas every Clan gundam can do laser vomit to some extent.

The Nova can at least slaughter mechs; the Ferret can't say the same.
I'll take my NopeVa before my Fridge.

If I could get 2 kills with the thing I would have put it higher. I've gotten more kills with the trial nova!
