Actually the only hard limits were on the Official games ran by Commandos/Agents. There was a half dozen mechs in all the TROs that were not modified for our table and the players modified them more as we played the campaigns. Then agains as a beta tester for Heavy Metal Pro You can only imagine what I can do to a Mech in a Mechlab with lvl3(Advanced) rules at my disposal!
