Don't worry, Sting. Col. Alex Reed and the Seraphim got your back.

I'm just driving the bumper car in the back of the line.

It'll be 60+/60+ before too long.

so Wazan- the goal there is to ensure someone could walk around the planet without ever setting foot on the ground due to mech debris covering every inch of the surface right?

assuming the game engine could actually cope...could you imagine if the mech salvage stayed for an entire attack period and only cleaned up during the cease fire time?

It has already been 60+/60+, heck the last 2 days our attacking planet and defending planet were at 60+ on davion side with us Mariks being shy about 2 companies. Then the kellhounds ghost drop a planet from us on our Steiner border even though the day before we had no battles on that border.

Lol. Do I need to post the threads of Mariks crowing about taking 4 and 5 Steiner planets in a row from just a couple days ago?

We decided to experiment in this wonderful little Beta to determine if y'all could be bothered to defend something that a huge fight wasn't already happening on.

When no one showed up, we decided to see it through...but it was so thoroughly boring I've been lobbying for NEVER doing it again.

...The fiery lightning of a hundred Long Range Missiles filled the sky, leaving behind the boiling swarm a flood of smoke which traced throughout the caustic air.
War had come to Wazan again.
The Battlemaster rocked backwards under the furious barrage of dozens of LRMs, but held his ground and stayed his guns, the Davion insignia painted across the left torso just visible over the crest of the ridge line.
Taking careful aim, the Davion pilot swung his autocannons into line with the first target, a Victor, and let rip with the destructive, man-made thunder built for this sole purpose. Stepping forward, the Battlemaster advanced towards the approaching Victor, meters counting down as laser fire stung and arced between the two combatants.
The Victor swung its Ac/20 around in a devastating snap-shot to the Battlemaster's torso, causing the Davion machine to stumble backwards into the trench once more.
Using its jump jets to easily navigate the rough terrain, the Victor moved over the hill and cast its gaze downwards at the smoking wreckage that was once his foe.
The PA came to life as the pilot made a general transmission; "...Greetings, Federated Suns. It's going to be a rough week."
Walon Pryde shut off the speakers and moved over to the objective, a massive cannon placed near the rear of the base. Skeptical of how to disarm or stop the thing, he simply found what appeared to be a power generator and ravaged the internal circuitry with several salvos of missiles and autocannon fire, slagging the vital power supply.
Giving a brief nod as another series of dropships fell from the sky, balanced on pillars of flame, "Striker" moved to ready his 'Mech for evac.
Memories of the last time he was here made him shudder.
The Davions weren't done.
Neither was Marik.
