Hehloes good warriors of mechs!

That sounded weird, but whatevers...

So as usual there is a whole lot of complaints on the forum, nothing against anyone but that tends to be the nature of video game forums. Many come around to only voice concerns and sometimes not too many positive things are said.

So I wish to make the day a little brighter and present to you with the idea of charging into the enemy team instead of simply running circles or hiding in corners... this is not a new idea, and it will very likely result in lots of bent brass and molten slag on the ground, namely the mech you piloted at the time!

However it is certainly enjoyable and I heartily urge everyone to give it a bash for change of pace!

It is not all about what is the best loadout you can build, it's also about how you wish to enjoy the game!

OOOOH! I love these!

I used to kit out a 4UAC5 Yagerbomb for that. It only had enough ammo to kill 2 players, tops, but there was a very good chance that WHOEVER I POINTED IT AT DIED.

I'm not a natural yolo'er so none of that for me, one of my favorite times ive died so far though was when my huginn ran out of ammo so I rammed enemies until i died from collision. Always remember to put on your rose tinted goggles for maximum fun people.

Only time I would consider charging the enemy team alone, knowing full well that I will die in the process is in Mordor, to buy time for my team to position themselves in the center. Us Mongols prefer their enemies dead at range.

Same thing in Australia - but with more drunken weaving. It's best to have friends tell you your predominant weave direction (mine's right) and then take off your thong on the opposite foot to balance you out.

I used this strategy mastering out my Battlemasters. It didn't go too well for the LRM-based Battlemaster, but the other two did exceptionally well!

Charging is seldom? I see a charging mech almost every time when i climb into a Mech Cockpit.

Its even a good idea most of the time - the difference between a successful charge and a stupid dead is simple the time you are in melee with enemy mechs. Also figured out when you are alone vs multiple targets the most secure place on the field is - not the corner behind you but the green field beyond the enemy line.

try it - go in slip between them - force them to turn and shoot after you - and of course you deal much damage even without shooting - because they will hit each other because they are so eager to kill you.

And shortly before you go down - call an ari strike - right on your position - style

Back in beta during 8v8 I was in a lance with 3 other friends and we all had ddc (jerks) frozen city and before the fighting started I suggest we all charge. The 4 Pugs on our team did not but it was fun as my friends and I killed all the enemies after we charged over the bluff and focused fired without casualties.
