True enough. I'm between 1.25 and 1.5 but I'm always wondering how guys get their KDR to over 2.5 as a whole. Maybe they just play the same mechs over and over?

Those high KDR are a result of very defensiv gameplay and high accuracy while having a group around that will focus down the mechs. They may only get 1 or 2 Kills like you per game, but they don't die 5 to 10 times in a row of games, when you die every second game achiving your kills.

Not really a comprehensive test of reactions.

Wow...that literally may have been the first time I've ever failed that test.

I'm sure 361 drops in a Trebuchet didn't help me in that regard...

various stuff, playing enough for example. sticking with a group, because in a pug oyu die a lot more often. only using the good meta builds and never experiment (or do so with an alt account).

but k/d doesn't matter, I like trying out trollbuilds or weird stuff, thats not healthy for the k/d but for me its important to have fun in the game, because tryharding gets boring very fast.

Oh yes, it is.
I enjoy to pilot so called doa mech, or crappy builts, or I also met mechs that surprisingly didn't fit to me.
So I have a skizophrenic k/d ratio.
GRF-N1 0.32 (lol, why???)
BJ Arrow (0,19) (I would like to have my money back)

Timber 3,25
HBR 3,20
('cause I cannot use them badly.... it would be a stain in my soul...)

But basically understanding how to use a mech is the key.

I took it several times, and averages ranged from 0.175 to 0.252, with most being around 0.24. You guys do realize that the differences between most of our times are being measured in hundredths or thousandths of a second right? Interesting nonetheless. I would be interested to see how non-gamers stack up to all us who play games.

non gamers have a reduced reaction time - i think there is even scientific proof. But you see it every day you are at a traffic light - most of the time a gamer is already moving while others still standing and waiting for green.

the test said my reaction time is on average 2.4 - simple don't wait for the green dot - watch somewhere else.
OK you loose a lot miliseconds while pressing the button.
There was a test where you had to release the button instead of click - you get about 70ms faster

Here's mine. I'm turning 17 in a couple of months. (Yeah, I'm just a little kid)
It's my first try, but it's not that great, I haven't been playing a lot of games lately

I'm 49. I don't consider myself to be very twitchy/reactive, and try to think about the shot vs just blindly shooting at the first thing you can see. I also see so many people waving lasers and I wonder why they are doing that? On top of all this, there are many, MANY pilots out there that either don't care or don't know the value of TARGETING a 'mech. Only when you target can you see where your next shot should go and what it will take to bring down your opponent.

If you think you may be able to do better... try a different mouse. Weirdly enough with my $100 gaming mouse i was unable to really get below .225.

Tried again at work today with one of those crappy wireless Logitech mini-mouses and consistently got below .180
