I'll give it a go after my coffee!
That being said, I'd say reaction time while important also sits side by side with positioning and anticipation in this game.

Old age and treachery, beats youth and reflexes, every time.
Let the young hotshots run out and twitch away..... I'll lay in ambush and make my one shot count.

Old is a matter of perspective really. I'm 43 going on 21. I don't feel old. But yes, patience is something that comes with age. I like to think of it as refinement.

then I had a pretty tense match and gave it another few goes and my times dropped to 0.19 and 0.22. So under some adrenalean you times probably go up a bit.
Now to try doping with caffine.

Best - 0.238
Worst - 0.295
PS: Prediction based on experience beats reaction - a human has to become really old to get that slow that reaction beats experience and when that happens the human has probably forgotten the experience anyway.
PPS: I am down to 0.227 now - even your mousebuttons have a influence on the result bcs the way to the Switch Point matters and even your Fingers diameter as it means there is more flesh that dampens the reaction like if you would put a pillow on a control button.
And that is where my curiosity ends...
