To much damage done you wont get the masses of new players that already left back , But their may be others if you get your act together.

It appears that your problem lies in dealing with defeat. Apparently you cannot. I saw several posts and topics all complaining how the matchmaker is horrible because your team always sucks and you always lose because of your team.

In a very respectful way, knowing there might be other things you are dealing with, "stand up and deal with it". We all lose sometimes. We all have losing streaks sometimes. It is statistically impossible that the matchmaker ALWAYS puts you in the losing team and ALWAYS your teammates suck as you have claimed. The matchmaker would have to be forced to do so just for you. Sadly, the matchmaker does not revolve around you.

Even if you get a 20 lose streak, you eventually win 2. YES that sucks bad, I've been there some days. The real issue is you focusing on the bad side too much. You need to brighten up.

In many cases it's PGI's fault. In this case the problem is you, your attitude and continuous focus on negative things.

Sir, the problem in this situation is you.

Please take as constructive criticism.

Yes.... it lets the old people who QQ and can’t keep up in any other FPS feel they can make it on their own. When in fact they are 56k dial up 1995 PC users who think times don’t change and they are still 15.

Aim for me PGI, you are doing great that’s why MWO is on the bottom when it comes to FPS..... But as long as the old people like it.... They earned their social security and have the rest of our money to spend keeping this old man game afloat.

Now don’t get me wrong MWO is my FAV IP! But the old people who still think they have the twitch/aim skills they did 30 years ago are just fooling themselves and taking this IP down with them. I mean for Christ sakes I saw a thread where the old people think it’s an exploit to JJ when being shot at, just because they can keep on target!


Its PGIs responsibility to brand this game for the future not the past!!!!! I want to be able to play this game in my next life!

you don't pay much attention to anything said by PGI

- the first part of the beta for CW is for groups and they only let pugs join to fill spots it was not made for PUG and was stated many times
-they dont want new players rate now since there working on some other things
- there not advertising for new players (its word of mouth that brings people here and i tell people to stay away for now)
- after part two of CW they said there working on the new player experience
- after the new place experience is revamped they will advertise and plan to go on steam for the full release of CW

if you would of been paying attention to anything going on with development or how out going PGI has been with there plans as of late you would of know all this but you only play a bit get beat around and then cry because you lose.

I agree that it is well past late, but it is still something that has to be done. Especially if Pgi plans on taking the game to Steam. IMO, to have a successful Steam launch Pgi needs to implement a single player tutorial (ie. testing ground with moving and shooting AI), and have an in game VoIP system/ command wheel in place before going live on Steam.

Of course there is more to do than these two things, but IMO these are the must do's.

OP is right that the game is outright hostile to New Players and does not let them grow.
If this would be a MMOrpg then PGI would put Level 1 Players into Level 50 Zones and frequently let them meet Epic World Bosses.

If they do get their act regarding New Players not done...there will be no MWO soon™.

Which would be sad...
