Well i was on the edge of quitting too, but that was while PGI was in the hands of IGP. I admit that.
PGI really improved after.
The boilingpoint was the adjustment of modules and the announcment of transverse. I lost modules for multiple Atlai, never got compensated for that.


PGI is really doing fine now. They're trying really hard, and it's paying off hopefully.

Take a break, OP. I ditch the game for a month or two at a time, come back for a few weeks, rinse and repeat. It can be frustrating to take in with some bad design decisions, a community that's even more arrogant and standoffish than the LoL and DOTA communities combined, and the glacial pace we've received things over the last few years, but in the end it's the only way to play anything MechWarrior related right now (unless you count the dead titles with almost no players).

Basically, don't take the game so seriously, leave that for the l33t b@da5535 who want to feel special in their little niche of the Internet.

OP is just starving for attention, but he does have SOME noteworthy points, especially the high hurdle for new players.

I am glad I started in closed beta, as a new player back then, I was learning the game with everyone else. That made things a bit easier.

Also, CW's narrow focus on the large groups is a bit disheartenting.

The game is definently flawed, but the "I'M LEAVING!" drama is a bit much.

I never said I was leaving. I enjoy the game enough to stick around until it expires, despite all the problems it has. Unlike some people, I can enjoy a game and still be a harsh (and realistic) critic about it. Not everyone is a fanboy or a hater.

I was in a match with Flaming. Right off the bat I told " You are ****** if you got paired with me! Watch this, half our team will be gone in 3 minutes!" I was 100% correct. Our Assaults got wiped because they simply walked into the other team and thought they could go 2v12, I was stuck in my Shawk vs like 4 or 5 mechs as they pushed our **** in!

He raged, I was like "told you so!!" This is every match I play.
