I think its absolutely hilarious when people say the game is bad now.
You dont know **** about the game being bad if you think this is the worst its ever been.

Must not have been around for 4PPC Stalkers, LRMageddon, or 1 1/4 years of poptart Meta

To much damage done you wont get the masses of new players that already left back , But their may be others if you get your act together.

Although this is a bit of a crazy rant and CW IS IN BETA... he does have a fairly good point overall.

Numbing critique (even though this one isnt exactly well voice) by comparison to much worse things in the past is very bad practice. And basically provides no argument at all.

Its like "Hey, look at dictator B, hes not that bad compared to what A did back then".
Substitute B and A for whatever current/past dictators or terror regimes you want.

That doesnt even provide any argument for other kinds of messups, be it small or big.
"Hey, dont critizise us for blowing up your wedding party with a JDAM - you must have totally missed Hiroshima back then".

He started around the same time I did... March/April of last year (2014). After a few months of crying, cried about the clans and quit forever.

He's the quintessential LRM idiot. Hangs in the back so he won't get his paint scratched, screaming at people to hold locks for him. Problem is, it's easy to sometimes have good games playing that way, which leads folks like him to think they're good players, ergo his whining about carrying people. Which is the biggest joke... he couldn't carry his own full diaper around.

What about CW is related to groups?

Factions are not groups. A group is made up of the same faction, but so is a pug.

Is it just that some think it's suppose to be for 12 mans for some reason I don't know about?

If it's wanting the better orginzation to dictate CW could we let 12 mans do that, while also having pugs only able to follow that direction yet their outcome have just as much weight?

Is it that it would split the playerbase too much? Cause it's already split and neither side is gonna give in by now.

I really just don't get the hate for pugs or 12 mans. Same poop different smell.



And for the record, PPC stalkers were only a problem with their first shot, then you knew where they were and could easily deal with them.

We as a community apologize that you find your entertainment value with mwomercs.com isn't at the level of your liking anymore but as a kind reminder.. even with games.. everyone needs a break once in a while or things become too monotonous. So.. enjoy your vacation whether it's temporary or permanent we honestly don't mind as there are plenty of potential new players that will join our ranks to keep mwomercs.com alive and well regardless of your thoughts and feelings about the future of this game in particular. Sure, some of us may miss fighting with/against you but your demoralizing announcement and personal commentary about mwomercs.com wasn't necessary even though you feel it validates your very existence in the world.

Congratulations, though, on your decision to find "better things to do" as we all need a way to kill our freetime when we're not busy with the essentials of life.

Aim for me PGI, you are doing great that’s why MWO is on the bottom when it comes to FPS..... But as long as the old people like it.... They earned their social security and have the rest of our money to spend keeping this old man game afloat.

Now don’t get me wrong MWO is my FAV IP! But the old people who still think they have the twitch/aim skills they did 30 years ago are just fooling themselves and taking this IP down with them. I think it's funny that youth is equated to competence. Here's a hint: youth gives you the ability to partially ( your mileage absolutely varies ) overcome your own incompetence. Nothing more.

I only PUG save for some 3-4 group queue matches with my few friends that play MWO. It's fine!
In fact, I had an incredible match just recently where we went back up from 6-10 to winning.

Special puggy snowflakes do not succeed in the face of an organized force. CW simply makes this even more obvious and refuses to give you, the PUG, another safe little playground away from the big bad 12-mans. You have one. It's the solo queue.

When you're ready to be a big boy, Clan Ghost Bear has plenty of units that would be happy to show you how not to be kicked repeatedly in the jewels by playing a team game with an actual team, not a random mob. Or you can go sit in the corner and cry some more.

Unless your goal is to be seen as a crybaby, it's never effective to post "I quit!" threads. Wether you have a point to make or not., make it without drama if you expect to be taken seriously.

Posting "I quit!" threads, then staying on the forums to continue to rant, not only enforces that you are utterly lacking any credibility, it makes you a hypocrite. If you are done playing a game. Simply quit. Don't bother telling those who are still playing you are leaving on a public forum unless you wish for ridicule. That's all you will get.

Also, if you are playing in a game that says Beta on it, you can expect issues. Any idiot knows this. CW is not perfect and it was put up so all of us can play with what they have so far. If you don't care for the current CW style of gameplay, don't cry. Just stick to the regular matches. If you wish to see improvements in CW, have a rational discussion about it with the community and take the steps to map out the known issues and present reasonable soloutions. Don't hyperventilate when it's not done to your specifications within a week. In fact, don't bother holding your breath. You do not get to decide what is going in or not. The devs will do what they do, if you do not like their vision of the game, leave. Go. Take off. Work with what you have, or play something else.

All of this talk of this game is missing the throngs of newbs, salivating to play stompy robots is highly overrated. I for one prefer that this game has a relatively low count of this bottom of the barrel. There are plenty of games out there that cater to them. I don't play those games, so personally....this makes me happy. Anyone that truly wants to play stompy robots, will figure it out. Those that need their hand held, and their bottoms patted as they start out, are only going to add to the Poopy Pants Army (this game isn't hard to learn AT ALL) The moment this game is on Steam, is the moment the IQ drops even further around here. Anyone who has potential to be a valuable member of this community, can figure out how to do this without a cartoon narrator to help explain how to torso twist.

This game has so few players losing one person is terrible. And befor you respond think of how many people you've introduced to this game recently that have stuck around. I know personally I'm 0-6 plus 0-5 when the game first started. Some where people that enjoyed playing BT. Everyone of them has bought at least 2 games after quiting. Its a shame.
