Hello all

I would like a Gold mech.

When I bought the Maskari collection for my Clan account I didnt realise I could of got a Gold and Maskari for just a few quid more.

Does anyone know if theres a way to upgrade my Maskari pack so I can get a Gold mech?

Second question - I would love a Gold Centurion. Has there been any mention of IS Mechs being "Golded"?

I know its pricey for a skin but I think of it more as investing in a game I enjoy.

PGI has said good mechs were mostly an IGP thing and unlikely to recur.

Send a petition to support and im pretty confident they'll upgrade you to a Gold Clan mech pack.

IS Gold mechs, unlikely but you never know....

I always thought they should have events were you could win... "gold, silver, bronze" mechs.. (well not a whole mech, but the option to skin the mech you placed in with those options) Not every event of course,, but a rare event would be really cool

I would contact support to see if you could just pay the difference to upgrade to a gold package

Be aware the gold mech is completely identical to the prime variant in that it gives you a %30 cbill bonus and you will be targeted extra for bringing a gold mech into a match

At the moment Gold mechs are only available for most of the wave 1 clan mechs. There are nothing available for anything else as far as I can see so highly unlikely to be able to get a gold centurion

There was at least some lore-based reason for Golden Kashik Omni-mechs.
The Elite of the elite. The personal guard and entourage of the leader of Clan Wolf.

Since there is absolutely no precedence for golden Inner Sphere mechs (i.e. golden Centurion for example), it'd be pretty hard to ration a reason behind it. Now, a Royal Guard skin? Or some ultra elite unit skin? I could see that with incredible ease! But I think PGI would be setting the price bar a bit lower as it'd likely be exclusively the mech rather than a mech + a package.

An example: The Prefectorate Guard (I would use the Dynasty Guard as it sounds more important, but I didn't like the pattern). "Burgundy, gold and black paint scheme."

Golden arms / exterior legs with some highlights, paint-able interior (or locked blue, can be either way).

Or you buy some paint for 500MC.and make as many gold Mechs as you like.

Yes there is a lore reasons within our clan for the golden keshik and what it is they stand for. sadly most people who buy the gold mechs don't understand that though

Been wondering idly about those gold mechs, and I'm hoping I'm not too far off-topic:

When someone buys a golden Stormcrow, they get a full Masakari Pack with it.

When they do that, do they end up receiving both a Golden SCR-Prime (G) and the SCR-Prime (I) from the pack they ordered? Or does the Prime (G) replace the Prime (I)? So, +1 mech, or one mech made extra fancy?

Rephrased: When OP get his golden khan mech, will he get another Prime variant for the one he chooses, or will his Prime (I) be overwritten by his Prime (G)?

You get both (25 mechs total).

From what I understand, he gets both. No reason to punish you for collecting all the mechs. (Insert meme here).

The Golden Keshik functioned as the command trinary for Alpha Galaxy and as such used Alpha Galaxy Brown as the color scheme, with gold highlights. A Golden clan mech was never lore based, period.

Thanks loremaster for correcting. I'm refering to the golden keshik as it's function by it's name which is meant in the post but you are correct I don't believe there is any solid gold painted mechs in lore anywhere
