Mine required full uninstall and reinstall to work. Sucks but helped, for now.

Having the same issue as everyone else, going on day four. I've had some luck with fresh downloads but they end up breaking by the end of the day usually. Hopefully, we will here something back soon

So I can confirm that you can still get in; it is just hit or miss... don't do anything other than keep trying to login... took me about 8 hours on sunday trying every 15-30 minutes or so but finally got in at midnight and early this morning got in again to finish the challenge.

Repair tool does not seem to work, have run it SO many times...reinstall helped for 1 log in then back to broken.
not sure what is going on.

How about giving us that Cataphract some of us missed because of this problem I was 5 kills away at 3am this morning and it hit me.

To fix the NETWORK ERROR issue

I fixed this issue in the following way :

Make sure you have a copy of your user profile in your hard drive.

Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Piranha Games\MechWarrior Online\USER

I just found the directory empty and copied my backup folder into the game folder.

Basically what happened was somehow the game deleted my user profile directory.


Logged in straight away , no issues after this fix.

Why is this bug still not fixed? After I downloaded a 400MB patch and having roughly 8GB free disk space, the patching stopped telling me, that there is insufficient space. After I moved and deleted some files for 10GB free space, I tried to "repatch". And guess what happened? The patcher startet downloading the installer base again. This is the third time that this has happend. I need more than 8 hours for a complete the download + patching. You may be able to guess, how annoying this is. Interestingly, the "insufficient disk space" never caused such a problem before. After freeing space on the HDD, the installer simply retried patching.
