Because they do.

Let's examine what would happen to other things in life if we applied this 'belief.'

I once worked in a data entry room providing assistance to people using computers. These people would complain of problems with the devices or program used for the data entry. What if anytime thy had a complaint, I just told them to, 'Man Up!' and deal with their broken thing?

I worked in US Army Signal and later civilian telecommunications. At times things broke and I was one of the people who had to fix them. What if I was to tell someone with a problem they need to stop whining and, 'Man Up!'

I have lived through two terrorist attacks, working in the Trade Center during the 1993 bombing and not far away for 9-11. What if we told terror attack victims to, 'Man Up!' and help themselves out of what happened.

Best example yet, what if the MWO server has a problem and a portion of the community cannot get on maybe even all of us. PGI can tell us to, 'Man Up! Adapt and overcome, the problem is YOU and you need to stop whining! Now buy our new stuff.'

Those trying to pull ITGA (Internet Tough Guy Act) clearly must never have had a job to have the attitude they post with. Providing services to fix broken things and provide balance is a part of gaming, been that way since before Internet gaming existed and it is a part of many a business and service. The 'Man Up!' complainers also clearly spent too much time in extremist politics. Please take your own advice, Man Up! and leave your politics in the political arena where you have messed things up already. If I wanted to play a game of politics, I would have joined one or ran for office.

Seriously, dude? I complain about reading nothing but nerf- and complain-threads in the last four weeks and 98% of them adding nothing new to their respective topic and you feel personally that pissed, that you refer to 9-11 and me supposedly not having a job for a living? Seriously?

Two more pages of this thread and we have comparisons with the {Godwin's Law} and {Godwin's Law}, eh?

we need better forum moderation again merging those threads, we really do not need them multiple times, same for the hacker topics.

It seems the only fault I can find in the opening post is mention of job. Soon e-peen job stories go full on.

I think the issue is you have a certain population here that think they are special. Their not. No one cares if your big man around MWO because it doesn't add up to a pile of beans in this world or real life. No one cares if you have money or a bunch of fellow pimple faced friends on teamspeak. No one cares what your W/L is either. Its a game stupids.

Just imagine these kings of the forum playing monopoly. There would be a hair pulling fight for the top hat.

Its fine for everyone to post what bugs them. Myself I don't want or ask for nerfs so you may see me comment in kind but that its. Once per thread I happen to see or bother to post on.

But the many here who post over and over with snotty remarks, meme's or other nonsense are deluded to think anyone cares what they say anymore than me or the first time poster. Your nothing in a little niche game somewhere on the cornier of the net. So whenever you dump on pugs, noobs or scrubs just remember somewhere a pretty girl is laughing and mocking you. and those you mock probably have a far better chance at the pretty girl then you ever will.

P.S, Meme's are now understood to be the badge of a true moron. So please keep it up, we would like to identify you for avoidance purposes.

Wait so pretty girls don't like memes? :o

"Complainers Of 'whining' Need A Job"

Cause, I wish someone would make a "YO DAWG" meme for whining about whiners. And I know I can't be a true moron because more then half the folks love MEME's............and that's like 30%! :P

"So whenever you dump on pugs, noobs or scrubs just remember somewhere a pretty girl is laughing and mocking you. and those you mock probably have a far better chance at the pretty girl then you ever will."

Are you a pretty girl? How came you with this supreme forbidden secrets of pretty girls!?

Aren't you really saying we should dump on pugs, noobs and scrubs.....that way when a pretty girl laughs and mocks us for doing so........that intern equates to "those being mocked" having a far better chance at the pretty girl!?!?

What if I want a "ugly" girl?

for some people it is, and some fear to lose their convinient robot job of their easy root when finally the boss finds out this dude isn't actually good at his job and its just his robot. They fera suddenly balance would make them work as hard for what they got before as others have to.

Yes, because someone whining about a facet of a video game is so very comparable to someone that experienced a terror attack or some other REAL LIFE issue that caused them hardship or worse..........

Being employed is the reason I don"t complain.

4-5 years from now I will be retired. Then that is when I will start complaining.

@ Widowmaker, not correct the majority of the time since the 'whining' has only been tossed around lately regarding a select small number of subjects.

@Mercules,
Oh please, I have done Tech Support, there are not 'constantly times,' you are just cherry picking and misrepresenting to support your bias. No where in your 'examples' did you show yourself saying the words Man Up because of these adult things called business etiquette, professionalism & maturity such as using Man Up is the type of lingo used by the punk who beats people up for their lunch money thus begging for an *** kicking. Two different things. Here, you are not customer support.

@Cion, one does not justify the other plus the Man Up crowd have been going on since Open Beta back in 2012, for example they were the same ones who wanted to keep LRM coring.

Joe Mallan can put his little boy stories back in the storybook. Adults are grateful Mallan doesn't get his way around here quite a lot given what he desires is so dumb, the playerbase would be much smaller.

@Egoslayer, Man Up is not constructive criticism though.

@Mudhutwarrior, partially true. The anti-nerf crowd though really needs to get a grip for reasons they should face up to but they hide from it like little kids. Also wrong to think people do not care, the act of posting is an attempt at socialization that is done partly to socialize with other like minded people thus indicating caring. Profiling works. Memes are like comedy, depending on how it is delivered, it can go over really well, fail horribly or somewhere in between.

I will thank Maccasimus for his bad sarcasm not being as dumb as those two idiots from Winnipeg I met. Hopefully his dialog never reaches that level.

@CocoaJin, depends on your target group, if referring to those mouthing off, true, if agreeing with them, false.

geodeath is anthoer clueless person who failed at reading comprehension. He has no finger to point because he is not smart enough to know what fingers are.

MarineTech wrongly describes himself as a BOFH, his example is like Mercules', the response is cherry picked and nowhere do you see anyone being told to Man Up.

WarHippy, lost, deluded, ignored.

HARDKOR has been & will be ignored since he is one of the unskilled, I have seen it in game and his posts.

@Bhael Fire, yep, the GYPSYs & Gwenneth Paltrows of this community (anti-nerf and whine accusers) have been begging for a Bryan Sikes. They are so clueless, they do not even know what that refers to and how it clarifies them so well. They should also learn what happens when they get their way as did recently at Jagex instead of running off at the mouth like wanna-bes.

Lily from animove, one of the dumbest statements ever, translates into adult English as, "Let's eliminate the Fire Department just to prove me right!" I have some friends who worked in the FD, go tell the FD they are not needed, see how far that gets you.

@McTrevor79, then don't jump on the Stupidity Bandwagon like the others.

@Kensaisama, that's the sad part, the anti-nerf crowd takes it too seriously to irrational extremes.

@Xmith, I choose to redirect it into other endeavors instead of complaining, endeavors that prove the anti-nerf crowd has zero clue what being a Man or Adult is.

I did not comment much on the various 'discussion' and anti-nerf idiots that went on recently largely because I actually READ what people posted and none of it what the anti-nerf, whine accusing, kiddies say it is. Since they failed at reading comprehension and care nothing about the harm they cause, they should just be ignored until they learn things themselves such as:
- Stop being a bunch of GYPSYs.
- Learn why Sikes' statement applies to you and you are a bunch of Gwyneth Paltrows.
- Learn from what happened at Jagex when anti-nerfing was satisfied.

Yea. This is a game. And it's filled with whiners who can;t win so they want easy mode. They want PGI to tuck everyone in nicely and make suyre no feelings get hurt. Nobody here tells anyone with real technical problems to "man up" or w/e. So your comparison is total bunk

Sure there are a load of issues especially technical, but over all skill still wins. Lack of such can be made up for with some "easier" chassis but hey, if you want customization and different mechs then get used to the idea that every mech will never be equal. And there will be no easy mode. What's broken is people's ability to f**king man up and DO IT RIGHT

Maybe in real life you're a hero but here in the imaginary world of MWO, you're just another QQing scrub.

So there's my ITGA. ou can speculate about my employment offline all you want... you'll be wrong ;)

Don't need to speculate about your employment plus those hiding behind 'Man Up' cowardice know nothing of which they speak.

All your kind prove is how dumb you are on a lot of subjects.

It's happened. We've reached complaining about complaining about complaining. And I bet some of the posters in this thread have complained about it.

Not that I'm complaining; it's a pretty good point nonetheless.

I can assure you, that I am a complete and utter BOFH. I can get you written affidavits from my user base if you'd like.

Now please excuse my while I drop out the 2nd floor router just for laughs. It's been an hour since people got back from lunch and likely nobody's saved their work.

I have called nerf whiners, whiners since before ghost heat. Just leave the game alone, learn to play, and shut up. This constant, high pitched buzz on the forums about this or that being OP is nothing but a bunch of crying over what killed the posting whiner last. It has been going on for over a year and is getting out of control.

This place is starting to sound like a daycare center for spoiled teens.

*Edited for further sarcasm.

wait...I'm confused..the above is meant to be sarcastic?

So we should read the above and take that your true beliefs are the opposite to this?
