Pgi, Please Consider "free Endo 4 The Poor" And Underprivileged Omnimechs Not Named Timber Wolf Or Storm Crow?

Maybe Omnipod weapon quirks could be based on weapon "family" types rather than the IS method of X% Weapon A and X% all weapons same type. For example...
-X% Large Class Laser Duration (ERLL, LPL)
+Y% Class 10 Autocannon Cooldown (UAC/10, LB 10-X, AC/10)
+Z% SRM Velocity (SRM6, SRM4, SRM2)
Etc.

I like it, but in the end, I think it's more complicated than my idea (which may be complicated enough)

IS lights are worlds above Clan lights, so much so I'd say that there's more disparity between them than there is on a TimberWolf vs IS Heavies.
Clans need some viable lights and that means speed. Myst Lynx overheats on boreal with 3 SLs and Srms!

I was specific in refining it.
I can't stand how the Mist Lynx and Kitfox both have Endo+FF, yet the Mist Lynx is designed to obliterate the DHS option in the legs, yet the Kitfox ignores it (probably due to the Kitfox-S's JJ legs).

K?
Thx.
Sorry. If you figured out when I posted that AND stop reading the first post a while ago... I hope I can be forgiven for my mech building sins.

I'd rather just drive a Mist Lynx as a punishment.
Chances are, I won't be able to make them pray at the end of the match.

I don't disagree with your thinking its just that Clanners are a very regimented society. They don'rt think to far outside the box in fact they may not even do more than peak outside.
A 55 ton LAM and a Warhammer IIC Fought 2 Heavy Omnimechs (Summoner and Hellbringer) to a draw and the LAM program was deemed a failure???
Ok, let's take BOTH tech bases back to where they SHOULD be.
Clans can't modify anything on the Omnis. Fine, works for me.
IS has to pay cbills for every modification AND their 'mechs are "out of commission" for X number of hours while the modifications are made.
Either both tech bases should be treated "per canon" or both tech bases should be treated equally with regard to modification.

don't forget that IS Mechs have a chance of negative quirks (RNG) generated for every modification, engine should only be in variables of the chassis tonnage, and all our positive quirks should be removed, for every non stock system.
But Joe would probably like that. Until he realized he was the only one left playing. Because while I like Joe, and find his opinions to be a nice counter to the MetaTards, the fact is Joe usually lets his Tabletop Idealism blind him to FPS Reality.
Sorry Joe, but it's true.

because then it becomes a caste war between the space poor and the space rich, and the meta has to do with who has accumulated the most cbills?
To be fair, 10 matches should be all you need for even the most expensive upgrade; DHS, which the Clams would never need.
If that's what he means.

Can't fault him there, I do it too.
I absolutely get what he's saying, though. I'm just tired of getting the short end of the stick.
