Oh, and uh,
The Hell is that Banshee M not a Wubshee?????
ML's???? ?ML??
Has the WHOLE WORLD GONE CRAZYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
MARK IT ZERO!!!!
I run mine with 4xSLs and 4xLPLs. Its my best mech by far, and ive tried the MPL version.. its either too slow or too hot for me. Specific quirks are LPL only so it gets no more benefit to MPLs than it does to any other energy weapon. I do sometimes think about swapping the 4 SLs for 2 MLs, but i like the heat efficient damage of the SLs, and really dont need more than the LPLs for longer range stuffs..
That one is fail though, because he hasnt forced the LPL to the high shoulder slot (also only 3 LPLs, but thats a valid build if you want to run a giant standard engine like a 375)

It is a 3xCLRM20 Crow if you cannot see clearly.
Well at least don't do it here. Since Clans have Minimum range on LRMs. Otherwise an LRM60 on a 55 ton frame! Sexy!

I once saw a DDC with only 2 LRM 10. That was it, nothing else, not even the ecm. He stood on the top of the dock, all by himself, in Crimson and fired away nonstop at the brawl we were having down amongst the buildings. Then he was over run when the rest of us were dead, but kept firing away with his 2 LRM10s at the jenner standing 30 meters away.

They really need to do in-game tutorials before they ever think about PvE!

Well, yours is all Wub, so its a Wubshee.
I run mine with a XL400. 2LPL, rest MPL/DHS
I highly recommend it, it looks on paper you trade speed for survivability, but, im practice it is way better.
Few suspect that speed on a 95 tonner, You torso twist fast, you get up hills fast, you get behind cover fast.
Plus all those engine DHS...
Now, dont flat out brawl in it, bully people with it.
Let the Whales and Stalkers take the punches, they like that stuff. You are the brick-in-a-sock-to -the-dome that people just dont see coming.
You can flank too!!!
Only thing you gotta worry about is losing a side torso, but, so does most everyone.

SHHHHhhhhhh
The best thing about the XL 400 banshee is very few people expect a banshee to have an XL, and you cant tell from the loadout so they usually shoot for CT anyway. Mine runs 4xLPL 4xSL whether im using the STD 350 or the XL400, i switch from time to time cos i cant really decide whats best.. I only lose 1 heatsink and a little armour on the arms to get the STD, but i do love that XL speed and responsiveness..
The MPL centric build doesnt work for my playstyle without the range of the 5SS really, and it only gets 7.5% range on MPLs, so i much rather keep the 4xLPL for super fast 44 pt peek alpha at 450m
Yes, you are preaching to the choir when you say the Banshee runs an XL400 well

CW is different than pug matches, since you have 4 times the number of mechs to fight. In pug matches, 8-10 tons of ammo is enough 99% of the time. By the time you run out of ammo, the match is mostly decided, and mop up phase has already begun. It is precisely due to the rampancy of ECM and Radar Derp, that LRM boats need to be mobile enough to position themselves for better shot--and medium LRM boats are perfect for that.
Not to mention Assault Lurm boats usually get boned once the enemy gets into the minimum range, due to their slow speed. LRM Mediums can just run away, especially those with JJs.

This is true, my most successful LRM boat to date was a griffin with LRM 15 and 3xLRM5, tag, ERLL and 8.5 tons of ammo (R.I.P, LRM 5 ghost heat killed that). Because mobile jumping around LRMs are far more effective than slow ponderous ones you can make up for the lower tube count easy, and that means you need less ammo.
