Suggestion:
If you zoom in, the movement of your mouse should result in less movement on screen.
I just tested to verify: with Modules (max zoom = 4x) you move just as quickly as without zoom.

It should be reduced, in my opinion.

I prefeer to have access to config your own Mouse speed, for non Zoom, x1, x2, etc, each one with your desired speed set up.

mice with variable dpi can be found anywhere with any sort of price tag, and i am sure that out there, a program that emulate this function must exist for non dps switchable mice.

But still, more option are never a bad thing.
I'm in with the op on this feature, do want!

This would benefit joystick users as well as they become even harder to aim with the farther the user is zoomed in.

I am aware of that, and I actually own such a mouse.
However, it has 6 different DPI-modes, which would force me to click the DPI-Button more then once to return to what ever setting i would need. This is a no-go, in my eyes.
(I do not plan on buying a different mouse just for the game, as this one just works fine.)

As for programs emulating his feature: good point, but i would rather prefer this feature to be ingame and working automatically - depending on your zoom-factor. ;)
Yes, i am lazy. :P

@DeltaWhite:
Excellent point. +1

I like Deltawhite's idea best. That does bug me, especially with the advanced zoom module, trying to aim with no reduction in sensitivity - takes getting used to after playing other games that have that feature.

it would be good if we could have a second sensitivity setting for zoomed in, especially with the ascanced zoom module this may be good for some mouse sensitivity optimisation.

many shooters already have a seperated marksman sensitivity in their options.

It should be a an option that can be turned off/on in the settings. Best of both worlds. People who want it, use it. People who don't don't have to.

I already got a button on the mouse to lower the speed, well it was set up for more precise graphics work but works fine in MWO as well

For advanced zoom yes. Not for regular zoom though.

I wanted to start a topic similar to this one. Glad I searched.

Currently, two buttons have to be pressed to snipe properly; zoom in and DPI switch. I'd like to be able to set mouse sensitivities for each mech and each zoom level, including the Zoom Module. It could be done inside the Mechlab, right next to firing groups, on the same screen.

Another thing: Please remove the zoom reset upon deactivating the Zoom Module. If I play at 2x zoom and am using the module for 4x, don't make it reset to 1x. That's 3 button presses to return to 2x from 4x (4x-1x-1.5x-2x).
