No way to just buy XP or GXP for cash or MC?

There is a way for XP + MC to be converted to GXP, but no way to get XP outside of earning it.

I've got hundreds of thousands of XP sitting on a few mechs (my HGN-733 and BLR-1G come to mind, probably a couple Catapults as well). It's pretty common for those of us that log a lot of time into the game, especially if we have a mech that spent any time as a favorite.

As I recall I have ~240,000 XP on my DDC... and that's after converting ~300,000 XPs from it into GXP.

Don't have anything that would have made the million XP club, though. I have too many Mechs for that!

It would help make the crappy grindfest in the mech tree a little better if there was a non-MC alternative for XP>GXP conversion, and if unlocking things cost 1/10 as much if you use GXP.

That's just wishful thinking though since PGI likes their grind so much.
