Just so you Kurita know. Prussian isn't speaking on our behalf of the entire CSJ Faction and hell no to his Role playing posts. Even I don't like what hes doing here either.

He is a prolific poster not shy about promoting his various points of view in his pursuit of glory for the Jaguar. It sometimes comes across that he speaks for the faction or certain units within it, but as his periodic disclaimers state, he does not claim so.

LB has the heart of it.

I enjoy ForumWarrior nearly as much as I enjoy MechWarrior(whichever incarnation it may be at any given time.)

I truly believe that there is a great deal of potential in coalescing Factional Politics given how many of us feel passionately about one aspect of our game or another.

If our Community was only so many #TwitchGamers with ZERO interest in Lore, I would have moved on long ago (...despite sporadic but vigorous cheering in the background, I'll ignore that and move on...)

But a fair segment of us grew-up with BattleTech matches playing out on our Kitchen tables staring in late 1985 / early 1986. The BattleTech universe is quite wide and deep and nearly every "Big Stompy Mech" gaming preference can be ascribed to a detailed facet of BattleTech. After Clan Smoke Jaguar, the Tauranian Concordant has long been a favorite of mine.

Anyhow, most of my submitted BattleTech Fan-Fiction was lost with the MW:T servers going cold and dead. So I am understandably reluctant to go that same route here in MW:O. Instead I spend entirely too much time adding RP-elements to my forum threads and posts.

I really do mean no disrespect to gamers who have earned the trust and favor of a dozen or even hundreds of our fellow gamers who have made these select few our Leading Unit Commanders.

I just refuse to so caveat, ameliorate, and handicap EVERY post I make such that each one line post contains sufficient alibis that:

- My posts and threads are meant to represent those of a single point of view, my own. I, in no way am a Spokesman for or are attempting to insinuate that I speak for JGx, -SA-, DERP, 267, 362, RDL, Alpha Legion, RSV or ANY of the Units with a habitual membership to Clan Smoke Jaguar. While member of the Smoke Alliance at one time, in NO way, shape, matter or form should ANYTHING I post be misconstrued as speaking on behalf of the Smoke Alliance. My posts and threads are my own. I completely stand by EVERYTHING I post in the context of the time it was posted and will parse out explanations and qualifying comment as requested given time and inclination of the requester.

~ The above (or some shorter version of it) does not often accompany each of my threads and posts. And to tell the truth nor should it have to, but LB has been magnanimous with his comments above and I am taking this time to more fully clarify why I post as I do.

If anyone has any questions, please let me know.

After a brief and all too unfortunate time of having been forced to attack CSJ, CGB now has an Attack vector into House Kurita Space, the Kurita planet of Caldrea (https://mrbcleague.com/cw/index.html#) is vulnerable to CGB liberation efforts.

Yesterday's multiple in-game discussions/matches with 19th Level Clan Ghost Bear Galaxy Commander II, Mordin Ashe convinced me of the brutal necessity of CGB actions. While I will continue to lament our mutual failures at negotiated settlement and repatriation. The process is now rendered null and void given that today CGB has the Kurita world of Caldrea as one of their attack options.

While I continue to submit Feature Suggestions, Tweets and Townhall Questions looking to reign in Mercenaries' current UNCONSTRAINED AND UNRESTRAINED portrayal in MWO:CW, working now with CGB LOYALISTS and Loyal CGB Mercenary Corps Units takes precedence, thus I changed the title and contribute this post,

All I can say here is...

If GB loses their path, it's not SJ's fault (you wanted the route, you better defend it).

The loss of the FRR front is disappointing, but I guess it's for the best "for now" as the multiple fronts was problematic with the current state of SJ activity.

Having more fronts should actually be a selling point for Merc units that help out... now it's just "all for one front" and as of last night, I felt like our CW options felt like the same day I had started a contract with SJ. The difference is that SJ wasn't under siege like day 1-ish.

I am glad that Mordin was able to discuss the issues with you but please stop misrepresenting him and our whole command structure.

Mordin is a MechWarrior, not a Galaxy Commander. He is a valued asset to our unit, but you insult us all by trying to inflate his rank like that for your own personal gain in these forum posts.

psst, 19th Level Clan Ghost Bear Galaxy Commander II is his in-game rank / title due to his loyal points.

Yes, I am fully aware of that. Prussian, in his dramatic flare, likes to use it as far more than that in these forums.

pssst in game rank does not mean actual rank within the unit.

psst, and in his quoted post he does not mention that he is a GC rank 2 of any unit. That he is a GC rank 2 of Clan Ghost Bear. Which he is.

My goodness...

Prussian is using the loyalty rank of someone to make it appear that the person has more klout than they actually do in the unit/faction they are a member of, and by association, the amount of influence Prussian has on the two factions as a whole. It is disingenuous.

As I have said, Mordin is a great guy and valued member of our unit. Based upon his in-game loyalty rank, though, he could be a solo player with far too much time on his hands for all anyone here would know. In-game loyalty rank means no more than the Ace of Spades, Bridesmaid, or Knight Errant titles. They are titles, and nothing more.

Who's gonna do it? Him? Him, Galaxy Commander Rank 2 Mordin of Clan Ghost Bear? He has a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom.

You weep for Galaxy Commander Rank 2 Mordin of Clan Ghost Bear, and you curse the MechCorp. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know. You don't want the truth because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want Galaxy Commander Rank 2 Mordin of Clan Ghost Bear on that wall, you need him on that wall.

Guys... thank you. Some of our gamers take all this much more seriously than others of us do.

Some very small minority of our community are clearly "Elitist" gamers who would chose to look down on me as a simple MechWarrior posting my own opinion.

I am not even a Point-Commander in JGx.

Just as #GamersWillGame, "Elitist Gamers" parse out just who can say what, when, where, how and in what tone.

I have bent over backwards to placate some within our Community by adding a "Caveat" link to my own signature block.

BUT insulting Mordin Ashe as I perceive has been done, is just too much.

Mordin did more in 5-minutes to bring me around to CGB's position than all the endless Posts and Tweets out there.

So for what it is worth, I misrepresented NOTHING when I said Mordin was influential in my decisions.

Nuff said on this topic, now back to cheerleading for CGB and their remarkable progress thus far in Combine Space...

...the Kurita Planet of Caldrea stands at 80% liberated by CGB.

"EXCELLENT job Mordin Ashe up in that Wall in your Big Stompy Robot, keeping us all safe from the Truth about Elitist gamers!" - says a simple gamer, who is a MechWarrior in his Unit but just so happened to be the first gamer in MWO to reach Level 20 in any faction (https://twitter.com/...355710118207490)

(If anyone is unclear as to why I post as I do, please see the link below.)

I enjoy reading everyone's posts but please remember the COC of your units, Clan and of PGI. Not to mention your own dignity and professionalism.

This is not and was not directed at any individual.

Quite right, I have adjusted my post (http://mwomercs.com/...ost__p__4214000) accordingly. Thank you JTSR.

I apologize to those I may have insulted, but it is important to remember that these forums are INCLUSIVE of ALL opinions just not those of Unit Leaders or Faction pundits.

That being said, as CGB liberates Caldrea tonight I trust ALL the Clans are once again tracking toward Terra.

We can finally put the worst of the algorithm behind us.
Thank goodness PGI now has a man in the loop.
Kudos PGI!

#GamersWillGame

The vast majority of gamers are inclusive and embrace the opinions of their fellow gamers, some unfortunate few gamers feel a need to denigrate others while elevating their own vaunted opinions ~ these very, very few are Elitist and erode the Community around them.

My LRM-Driver self is about as far from the best player in MWO as one can possibly be... though Russ did send me this: https://twitter.com/...355710118207490 and yes, for what it is worth that is my 15-minutes of gaming pseudo-fame.
