Change the defend symbol to a hollow shield.
When you take command and place the shield symbol on the command-battle map ( B ) it covers the detail under it, stopping your team seeing what they should be defending or protecting.
The solid shield symbol needs replaced with a hollow one.

Friendlies still can't see under the shield.
When I'm commanding I put it off to the side of the match area. But there's not always a peace of out of bounds area near by.
Still need to make command symbols hollow or semi-transparent.

Hahaha, this has got to be the simplest, most useful feature / fix I've ever seen suggested on here. Semi transparent, hollow, make it happen!
