1) He already said he was new to the game, your nigh incoherent statement of his post count is irrelevent.
2) You are really proving his original point. Bravo.
3) "Get a life"...?? Did I miss something? Is it 8th grade all over again??

OP, you have to understand something. Mechwarrior Online... well, in some aspects, it's like the Unicorn many of the diehards have been waiting for all of their lives to play. It's the peak of what their lives have been leading up to, and it's finally here. Granted it's a much smaller player base than say the likes of the elite comp MOBA players, but it is just as toxic, elitist and trollish.
Also you have to understand, the majority of the playerbase that has been around for the past few years, has had nothing to do BUT the same Team Deathmatch loop in the same old maps, day in and day out. Many assume that new players should understand the game in the same way they should because, well, everyone should play MW:O like it's a primary job like they do and for as long as they have.
Lastly, time sorta matters if you're working towards upgrading mechs and equipment. The grind gets old. Granted this shouldn't really effect vets who've been around for a while as having a few hundred million c-bills shouldn't be a problem (unless they were stupid and dumped all of their cash into their unit coffers, lmfao) but if you're just starting out and want to get cbills to buy 12 mechs, upgrades, weapon and equipment range/duration modules, that's a lot of time and drops ahead to grind. So when you have one or two people running off to die instead of playing as a TEAM, or chasing butterflies, or shooting missiles into the sun... it gets old. Sure it's a game, and you should play it as you want to enjoy it... but it is a TEAM game and it is heavily reliant that the team play together in order to win so players can get those C-bills to get more mechs and equipment. Not every mech is a frontline figher, scout, or rear echelon missile launcher. Learn and understand mech roles so everyone can have a better experience and fun.

I guess it's true, as long as you 'participate' in any way shape or form, then hide it's perfectly legit (run in, shoot a SML, take off). Or hide but at the last minute then shoot something.
Typical PGI. gg close...
You have no right to tell someone else how to play. You committed to be available for the full 15 minutes, as did they. How that time is spent is up to each individual player and their skill. Why did you die so soon? How come you wouldn't play better? Your mech is dead, so obviously you aren't that good, because this guy is still going... right?
And yes, that's a deliberate perversion of the argument.
So GGclose on your attempt at moral superiority.
