Everything Bad I Ever Said

The things i have seen in CW solo drops, the chat, the loadouts, the "strategies". I would have never believed that things like these exist, yet they do.
I take everything back PGI, the matchmaker in the solo queue is awesome and thank god for ELO.
Peace

And to be honest I have seen more mixed group victories against groups in CW (MANY attrition victories) than ever in regular que. So if for a fact there isn't a ELO/MM in effect that may point out something.

I have still seen far more mixed group vs single group in the normal public queue historically despite MM and ELO. But those games just tend to be over much faster.

totally agree with you.
I have never really seen any of the name calling, racist homophobes that other people have reported on in the solo que.
Drop into a CW battle, and about 1/3 of the time, we get some friendly role-playing teasing going on between the attackers and defenders ((the FRR WILL eventually join in the glorius ghost bear dominion btw))
The rest of the time I wish I could put players on an ignore list in-game

I killed three in one match. When I ripped of the gauss torso, they all died. I went into shock. I thought they were a myth, but this Davion unit had THREE.
I need to get a stiff drink.

It's the same way i feel. Solo/group Q elo/MM has sheltered me from so much.
I thought it was picking on me at times, but after dropping in CW and seeing the boundless derp... i see that elo/mm has been treating me very, very kindly elsewhere.

Played 50 Matches in the PUB queue this weekend. Never waited more than 3 minutes maximum for a Match. And that is driving mostly Heavy Mechs. Gotta call BS on that dude.

You do realize the "matchmaker" never makes a game for a "match" as in "evenly matched", but generally generates one team with relatively closely matched ELO rankings vs. ones that "balance" by throwing bads in with goods?
It's fun, play in solo queue and you can often figure it out before a match even starts, just by looking at the Mech choices.

Yep.
MM is not perfect, but it does reduce mindless rolls and help filter out some of the worst elements. In CW, in its current form, you have no way to avoid any of that - the derp, the tools, etc. - unless you can regularly fill out nearly a full team. Given the state of CW, that's growing harder to do.

I see so many trial mechs in CW!....but I acknowledge that's because the UI drops your deck information and resets you to Trials...even if you fix it in the lobby and hit save.
1600 damage is my "trial high" so far. Hehehehe.
