Anyone have any experience with it? Mines runs, it just refuses to run at a smooth 60fps, or hell at FPS above I'd say 25.

I don't know WHAT the hell is going on.

Hmm, I don't have it installed but I do have MW3 and Windows 7 x64. I guess I could try it.

I have Win7 64-bit and have been completely unable to get MW3 to work. Crashes when I launch a mission, and is buggy all up until then, at best.

EDIT: I can imagine it would work any better with Vista, of all things.

I couldn't get mine to work. I can load up past the intro, watch mission videos, set up a mech, but as soon as I go to launch it crashes. I just gave up and played MW4 Vengeance as that works fine if you install with compatibility mode.

I think it has to do with GPU drivers, if I had the room I would install and old working voodoo 3 card I have laying around to see if that would work.

Its no better on Win 7 64, apparently it's modern GFX cards.

Take an old laptop hard drive, tape it to the inside of your case, install XP, choose it when you boot, Boom MW3.

The MechWarrior 3 Community Project, it's the name of a site dedicated to MW3, I know certain cards apparently will not allow it to run, and yes it's linked primarily to modern graphics cards, but there have been a lot of fellows with some know-how who've been able to troubleshoot and fix most issues subsequently.

I was hoping someone would've had my problem with Vista. Damn.

I've got 64-bit Win7, GTX 560 Ti TOP, quad core processor and i am able to play the Mechwarrior 3. The only issue is that it crashed time to time (don't know the real reasn, but might be because that had played it for too long). First when i installed the game from a old CD after installing the game and lauching, it crashed after or at the first demo scene. The fix for that was that i download patch for the game and after it i had nostalgazm with running around with the BushWanker or what ever was the name of the first mech :). Anyway the point was that with patch i got it to work (even with new GPU) but the game still crashed time to time, but still rarelly.
