I played 5 matches got 5 wins and 3 points, got the 3 free days... and I don't care about the free mech. This has never happened... am I Burned Out? Can it be? I just can not see myself grinding out 27 more matches for a mech that will collect dust I guess. Oh well. Have fun folks. I am going to mess around with mechs that have almost no chance of getting kills on purpose but assist everyone else and call it for the weekend... its always so messy around here with people getting all grumpy on the last day.

Sadly, MWO for me is slowly becoming "Just another F2P game that I play for the First Win of the Day bonus".

Everyone has burnout phase. Especially when he had grinded Doomcrows, Direwhales and Timbergods back to back.

Ima stick with my Far Cry 4 walkthrough video making for a while.

So far I've finished mastering my 3 stormcrows, gotten first kills on 2 orions, 3 victors, and a king crab. 13/22 games qualified for the event. Continuing to level victors, even though I don't like them much. I have a thing about mastering all the mechs I own (I'm now up to 20 lights, 22 mediums, 20 heavies, and 16 assaults mastered) - the free mech is pretty much just a bonus for playing.

I want that mech (C).
I care about it, despite I already have it mastered.
So, I can sell it, grinding enough c-bills to buy 3 Mad Dog.
Grinding life goes on.
I like it.

Funny thing is about these events you need more armour in your back due to friendly fire than the front. It's effing ridiculous.

This event would be more enjoyable if you didn't have to get a kill but instead needed a certain amount of kills and assists combined. It's just frustrating when you get 8 assists and 500+ damage without a single kill. When it encourages people to change their playstyle to try to get a kill it's not a very good system. It also makes people who want the reward play long past the having fun point because of time constraints to beat it which will just burn people out.

P.S. Sarlic, your name makes me think of garlic every time I see a post by you. I could go for some buttery garlic bread right about now.

I know right? Trust me you are not the only one.
I should have taken my last name behind it.

Actually, this event has been a nice relaxing re-entry after a break to try War Thunder out. I'm at 25 points for 5-6 hours of game time, so tomorrow I'll just laze out the last 5 and tinker for a bit before retiring to other games for a bit. The requirements are perfectly fine for the reward, haven't had issue with them.

And the best part? 70% of my points were earned by Commandos. 25 tons of pure ferocity!

I just want my three days which should be obtainable. I agree though that grinding out 27 qualifications is kind of ridiculous considering the prize.

Now if it had been a clan mech of good quality I might be more inclined to try.

I'm trying to get the Cataphract just because, but it is exhausting, frustrating, and is burning me out.

I got a free Centurion for playing 100 matches in a year, it will take me over 100 in a weekend to get 30 points for a Cataphract. Ugh..

imho, the real problem with the challange is makes people even more seflish and stupid than they are allready ...

... people wait for their team to get shot down because they hope for easy kills on allready damaged enemies - wonder what happens if half of the team does that? right suddenly your outnumbered and loose

... people don't care whom they hit - espeacially in brawling the amount of friendly fire has increased ... really there should be some punishment for it - like a TK counts as -5 for the challange

... people focus on allready crippled mechs because they want the kills above everything else and don't care that their teammates might need some help with some not crippled enemie (seriously I watched 3 lights shooting a Stalker with no weapons while completly ignoring the king crab next to it who killed 2 teammates in that time ...)

the really sad thing is - people learn that these tactics are "rewarded" and thus use them more often ... and then cry about how hard CW is for pugs because their tactics fail against teams who actually know what teamplay means.

Yes, but I'm going to sell my CTF-D, not (C).
Around 1,5 million I think; I need c-biils for 3 Mad dog

It's taken me 40-something matches to get 20/30 qualifying games in for the tourney. Mostly winning, but I'm not actively going after kills, just wrecking conquest in my spider. If you don't win none of your efforts count, so I'd rather just try to win like normal and if I pick up a kill and assist, great.
