The 1stMI are a multi-gaming clan with hundreds of members spanning the globe but mostly based in the US. We enjoy all genres of PC games (MMO's, FPS', RTS'). You will find that there are very few games that have never been played by someone in our clan. We have participated and are now in several beta's as a clan.

Now with the invasion of the 1stMI into Mechwarrior Online, we require those of you who are dedicated, mature, and willing to become a part of a strong band of friends to stand and be counted. This is an adult clan so 1337 idiots Need Not Apply. We have our own Ventrilo server and recommend all new members use it. We are a Community and Vent is how we talk to each other. Our forums are also a main stay for communication. We encourage you to become comfortable at whatever level of activity you like, but for advancement through our ranks, you must be an active member of the guild. This is a meritocracy, and action is how you will be judged.

We prefer to have all types of players(PVP,PVE,Crafters, roleplayers, etc..) working together which allows all play styles to work as a team.

Do you guys have cookouts,orgies, and bingo night every other weekend? I'm curious because I have to work every other weekend.

We will be focusing on training and small squad tactics. We want people to get used to working in a specific lance with the same people. We are looking for avid gamers who play 10+ hours a week. We are based in the pacific time zone and most of our members are adults with day jobs, so most of us will be playing in the evenings(mostly after 9PM til 12 or 1AM). This is a nightly game time and most of us will be on every night (and our days off). Training will be once a week(day to be decided) and we will go over tactics, load outs and strategies that we have run across during the week. We are based on a military rank structure but the ranks are mostly meaningless. No one will be in charge all the time and if you have leadership qualities you will be needed. All that being said we want to have fun and most of us think winning is fun so this is all leading us to being one of the best Merc units out there. No you don't need to play every night and no you don't have to attend every training session. Wow, long time no see 1st MI! Damn, this takes me a while back! Glad to see so many of the old guys are still on the 1st MI roster Zain, I'm glad you guys have prospered! Hope you guys will do well in this game as well, and look forward to seeing you all on the battlefield!

Hey David, i recognize the name but I don't remember what tag you ran under either. Gunmetal maybe, no it was blade right? Anyway great to see ya man. Maybe an alliance might be appropriate between the Greyhounds and the 1stMI?

Wasn't Gunmetal. I think it was Blade... I rolled with you guys from the start of the AA Beta up to a good while after it tanked. As far as alliances go, I guess that's something to be considered. However, with the little details of the metagame released so far, it's kinda hard to say how it will be implemented... No problem on keeping the comms channels open though.

Sounds pretty interesting, I might just sign up. Not sure if I can devote 20 hours a week (my girlfriend would beat me with me own spine for neglect) but I can definitely log some sessions and am not too bad a pilot. Thanks for the open invite! =)

It's hard to believe, but I've been with the 1stmi for over 7 years now. It's a great group with an extremely solid foundation. MechWarrior Online is the perfect fit for us, and the best fit since AA so many years ago.

I hope to see a lot of new names joining us for battle.

Went through your 'Roster' page on you guyses' website. It really seems like most of the old gang are still there (unless it hasn't been updated recently).

Most of them are there it's just we don't have any main video games at the moment so most of them don't check in regularly. MWO should be getting their attention though.

AutoAssault really fit our group the best, since then there really hasn't been any 'mech' type MMO. That did help us branch out to a ton of other games, but we've really been seeking something like MWO for a long time now.

I see The 1stMI being very successful here. If we get to blow stuff up, we're happy.
