Me trying to celebrate the fact that I finally got my Battletech pre-order fixed (email had a typo), but I'm horribly sick and feel like I'm dying.

cool, thanks mad hornet. Okay so edit post to read AC/5 that can only fire 2034 (620m) feet optimal. Whilst the M256 maingun for the M1A1 Abrams at 120 mm fires 3000m or 3,280 yds effective with a smooth bore. Battletech is kinda confusing on AC shell size. As some are a burst of shells and others are a single solid slug. and since the is a gif thread and we are talking about guns.... here you go.

The Autocannon is a direct-fire ballistic weapon, firing HEAP (High-Explosive Armor-Piercing) rounds at targets either singly or in bursts.
Different manufacturers and models of autocannons have different calibers (25mm-203mm) and rates of fire. Due to this, autocannons are grouped into generic "classes" of autocannons with common damage ratings, with Autocannon/10s causing more damage than lower-caliber autocannons while retaining a moderate range.^[3]
An example of the rating system: the Crusher Super Heavy Cannon is a 150mm weapon firing ten shells per "shot", while the Chemjet Gun is a 185mm weapon firing much slower, but causing higher damage. Despite their differences, both are classified as Autocannon/20s due to their damage output.
The Terran Hegemony introduced a prototype AC/10 in 2445. It cost five times as much as a standard Autocannon/10, would jam like an Ultra Autocannon, and only carry 8 reloads per ton of ammunition.^[4]
An Autocannon/10 can use special munitions to increase its effectiveness.

ac 2 = 20 mm roughly
ac 5 = 50 mm roughly
ac 10 = 100 mm roughly

All those sizes aren't accurate, because they vary. The chemjet fires 4 150mm shots to deal 20 damage. The Pontiac 100 literally fires 100 rounds in under 10 seconds dealing 0.2 damage per round. Totaling 20 damage in 10 seconds.

When PGI **** up the part of supernova event they should remove to get people onto the PTS ... Then on top of that they dont even have the PTS during the reduced event and their comments on the subject contradict each other.



Resto im pretty sure that spinning gold hawk coin is from Tiberium sun (hated the game, everything after Red Alert was just cash cowing =( )
