Would be great if they could someway allow us to customize the vocal ranges into anything we wanted in the cockpit via a slider or something. This way we could adjust voice to anything from woman to man with any vocal ranges we wanted like the screaming bee voice change software for team speak or the computerized voice included with windows for impaired users wich can be altered to talk fast /slow..

I like the trailer voice...it just needs to say "nominal" instead of "online". The original actress is 20 years older now plus legal issues and the fact there is probably new ideas and sentences makes reusing the original sound files a troublesome idea.

What legal issues are you refering to Thunder also it is not troublesome to get her if she wants to do it and PGI want her whats the legal issues you speak of? this is a Reboot of the Franchise if that be the case does it not make sence to use the Thing that made Mechwarrior 2 so memorable for all 76% of the people who voted for Carole back on this very thread im sorry but reusing old sound files feels cheap and hash to me not a good way to do things this is Mechwarrior after all it is better to make the game the best it can be in all aspects rather than just rehash things which will devalue the product in the eye of such a Strong playerbase that has followed this Game series and the TT of course it would be easier to just reuse old audio but harder goals are more satisfying if you work for them at the end of the day rather than doing a half arse job but your Opinion is your opinion man but just my 2c

I want this to be the Best Mechwarrior game yet and succeed at all goals

Definitely want Carol's voice in the final version. It just wouldn't be the same otherwise.

I like her as the computer voice, but I also want Duncan Fisher narrating all the hell being unleashed in the middle of the battle.

Going to do a lame cross sci-fi thing, but it's the equivelant of not having a Majel Barrett doing the Star Trek Computer voice. (or since she's passed someone who sounds like her.)

Carole is pretty much 'the voice' of every mechwarrior game game I played back in the day, and it would be great to hear: "Heat level critical." in that soothing voice, over and over again.
